I sometimes do wonder why I was sent to Kivotos, why an 18-year old male with relatively no experience with teaching, was sent to this place. I’m barely an adult at all!

It was just another night at SCHALE, Sensei was writing his first report to Rin, the Chief Administrator Officer and the Vice President of the General Student Council.
“It’s been 2 days since the deadline for this, I have to finish this now.” Sensei thought to himself as he continued to type in the keyboard before being interrupted by a door opening.
“Sensei?” A familiar voice called out.
Sensei momentarily glanced at the entrance before seeing a girl with white long and straight hair. “Noa? What are you doing here?”
The girl was Noa, the Secretary of Seminar, the student council of Millennium Science School.
“Sorry to disturb you Sensei, I hoped I would quickly find something valuable to me, but you must be busy so maybe I’ll just look for it tomorrow-”
“I’m not busy!” Sensei’s immediate raise of voice startled Noa. “I- I mean, I could help you find this valuable thing.”
The girl smiled. “Thank you, Sensei.”
Sensei and Noa turned the lights back on and started to search for the valuable item of Ushio Noa. However, just shortly after starting the search, Sensei forgot to ask a crucial question.
“What are we looking for?” He asked.
“Something that feels out of place, Sensei.” Noa, uncharacteristically however, didn’t directly reply.
“What exactly-”
“Sensei?” He was interrupted once again by another voice from the entrance, this time it was a girl with purple colored twin tails.
“Yuuka? You too?” Sensei asked in a confused tone.
The girl was Yuuka, the Treasurer of Seminar, she is said to be a mathematical genius even amongst the students of Millennium.
“Good evening, Yuuka-chan!” Noa smiled before giving her best friend a hug.
“N- Noa?” Yuuka was surprised to see her friend in SCHALE this late into the night. “W- What are you doing in here?”
“We were looking for something valuable to Noa, she said it was lost in here.” Sensei responded on her behalf instead.
Yuuka, still confused by the situation, asked. “Is that true?”
“I forgot a photo somewhere in SCHALE.” Noa replied before sticking her tongue out playfully.
“You? Forgetting?” The Treasurer was already confused by the scenario enough, now she’s also confused about her friend’s well-being. “You're not the one to forget anything…”
“Ah! I found it!” Noa replied instantly before pulling out a folded photo from her pocket. “I forgot I placed it there.”
“Yuuka is right, Noa is the last person I would expect to forget anything.” Sensei thought to himself as he watched every move Noa makes, trying to see if something was indeed wrong with her.
“Are you really okay-”
“By the way, it’s already 11:30PM. Why are you still not asleep, Sensei?” Yuuka interrupted Sensei’s question, her hands on her hips, it looks like she was ready to scold Sensei for sleeping late.
He sighed before responding. “I haven’t finished the weekly report I was supposed to give to Chief Administrator Nanagami Rin.”
Yuuka narrowed her eyes before walking towards him. “Really? Is writing a weekly report hard, Sensei?”
“It isn’t hard.” Sensei replied. “I just… don’t know how to write one.”
The two students present in the room had the most shocking revelation about their sensei thrown at them. Noa chuckled and Yuuka was just straight up shaking her head with her fingers pinching her nose.
“I’m serious! I really don’t know how to make documents look professional!” The embarrassed sensei tried to protect his own pride in front of his students.
Yuuka sighed and looked like she was going to berate him more before remembering a big detail. “Sensei does help every student in Kivotos, so writing a report might not be a priority for him.”
After thinking about that detail, she walked towards Sensei, this time a lot closer, before looking up to meet his eyes. “T- Then I’ll help you write one.”
Her face, however, doesn’t have the same calm and composed expression anymore, instead she couldn’t even have eye contact for more than a second. “B- But this is mainly so that Kivotos and SCHALE runs smoothly!”
Sensei smiled and patted Yuuka’s right shoulder. “Thank you, Yuuka.”
Yuuka quickly turned around and walked towards a computer to help Sensei with the report. “Let’s get started.”
“Yes ma’am!” Sensei joked before returning to his desk to continue working on it.
Yuuka’s glanced at him but not her face to make sure that it wasn’t obvious that she was looking at him. “Why do you have to look so cool whenever you’re around me? You really know how to flutter someone’s heart.”
It turns out, the reason why she immediately turned around to stop facing Sensei was due to the fact that she was blushing.
Noa smirked after seeing it before turning around to exit the room. Mission complete! She thought to herself.
