Chapter Text
Yoimiya was almost at the top of Tenshukaku, but she was struggling to pull herself onto final roof until a hand pulled her up.
“Almighty Shogun?” Yoimiya tried letting go out of Ei’s grip but she tightened it.
“Yoimiya.” She was staring into her eyes. “I know what you’re about to do.....” She finally let go of Yoimiya’s hand. “….and I’ll be waiting for them.” She zapped down to the entrance of Inazuma City.
Yoimiya placed down the fireworks and set them off. Covering her ears as each set off a rattling bang throughout the Island. Ei readied her the Musou no Hitotachi as the horde of Abyssal monsters flocked to Inazuma City. As they were near the steps near the entrance of the city, she took a deep breath. The next few moments were her zapping through and slicing them before they all disintegrated into oblivion.
Yoimiya cheered as Ei single handedly took out the Abyssal monsters, but something floated down in front of her.
“You really think your precious Shogun can take out my army like that?” The girl laughed. “Maybe she’ll learn what happens when you take on the Abyss.”
While Ei was quick enough to stop the girl by shoving her off the roof, Yoimiya had jumped off Tenshukaku in panic. Ei shot down to the beach and slashed a rift open, which Yoimiya passed through. She entered the Plane of Euthymia but didn’t see Yoimiya within the plane, but her vision was laying on the ground.
Oh dear, this isn’t what was supposed to happen. Ei picked up the vision, it was still active. She’s alive.......but where did she go?

Ayaka had gotten to her apartment’s lobby, her legs were killing her since walking in heels was not a fun experience. As she was approaching the elevator, she noticed a woman unconscious on one of the comforters.
Oh god, is she okay? She approached the woman and squatted down, waiting for her to wake up.
Yoimiya slowly opened her eyes, blinking a few times before realising there was a woman in front of her. She had black eyes with black hair tied up, styled with bangs and light blue tips . She was wearing a white button up, a black blazer with matching pants and heeled boots.
“Excuse me, are you alright?” The woman’s concern was expressed on her face. Yoimiya sat up, observing her surroundings. It was a quaint lobby with beige walls, a couple of plotted plants, a blue carpet, a spiral staircase encasing a walls with a strange door, little doors with numbers on the wall opposite her and a long circular desk next to her.
“Y-yes….but where am I?’ Her last conscious memory was her plummeting down to the beach, she was expecting to already be dead but it seems something saved her.
“You’re in the lobby of Bronwyn Apartments.” She stood up, offering a hand up. “Ayaka.”
Yoimiya grabbed Ayaka’s hand and she was lifted up. “Yoimiya.”
Ayaka led Yoimiya up the stairs to her apartment; she explained that the elevator was undergoing maintenance for a while and that she had to hike up 5 levels each day currently. As they ascended up the stairwell; Yoimiya took off her geta, as they were messing with her balance. It wasn’t long until they got to Ayaka’s apartment. It was a moderately sized space with a separate bathroom and 2 bedrooms.
“Do you have any clue what you’ll do in NY?” Ayaka asked as they sat down on her couch. Yoimiya shook her head, she didn’t even know what to do with herself in this whole new world. “Hmm..” Ayaka pulled out a newspaper from her bag, swiping through the pages for any job opportunities. “Here! Regional manager for Backstreet Boys wanted.” Yoimiya looked at the page in disbelief, how was it that easy for Ayaka to swipe through the pages to find such opportunities.
“But Ayaka, I’ve owned a firework shop! I don’t think the skills are applicable for managing these “Backstreet Boys”; what even is that.”
“Honestly, you should try for it. Managing a boy band shouldn’t be that hard if you managed orders and material supplies in your firework store.” Ayaka playfully nudged her. “I’ll lend you some spare clothes to look professional!”
