After spending time with your boyfriend, he goes off with his friends for a moment, and when you return, you discover that he has fallen victim to a bad spell and is now a 3-year-old toddler clinging to you with all his might, refusing to even let you go to the bathroom alone. Without a doubt, it’s going to be a very long few weeks.

Chapter 1: Baby Draco

Chapter Text

You didn’t understand what was happening when Blaise Zabini came running toward you like a madman. You got scared, thinking that maybe your boyfriend, Draco Malfoy, had another panic attack or something similar. But the look on Zabini’s face worried you even more, and when he asked you to follow him, all you could do was nod and run after him, faster than you normally would.

You expected to see anything—anything but this. Crabbe and Goyle were standing there, terrified, staring at Draco’s school robe on the ground with a small figure tangled up in the fabric. It was… a baby? The baby was crying, and as you got closer, you recognized it. The baby looked strikingly similar to your boyfriend.

“It’s Draco,” Zabini stated firmly. You stared at him like he’d lost his mind. “Goyle tried to cast a spell—well, it doesn’t matter what kind. The point is, Draco got mad, and just as Goyle cast his spell, Draco cast one too. They both rebounded on him, and… well…”

Your heart broke at the sound of the little Draco’s cries. You hurried to scoop him up, gently wrapping the robe around his tiny body to cover him. The others just stared at you, and you almost lost your temper. “Go find a professor! Don’t just stand there looking at me like that’ll turn Draco back into a teenager!”

Everyone nodded and rushed off to find help. You rocked the baby gently, his cries slowly subsiding. He looked up at you intently, his tiny hand reaching out to touch your face. You sighed softly, a wave of tenderness washing over you. “Hi, Draco,” you greeted him in a low voice, careful not to startle him. After all, you weren’t sure if he was fully a baby now or if his teenage consciousness was still there, trapped in a small body.

At that moment, Professor McGonagall appeared miraculously, calling your name. “Y/N… what happened?”

“I don’t know, Professor. I wasn’t here when it happened,” you explained. “They said some spells collided and rebounded on him.” You turned to show her the baby Draco. The professor’s expression softened as she stepped closer to take the baby in her arms to examine him. However, Draco immediately began crying and wriggling toward you, clinging tightly to your neck. Blaise tried to help, but Draco’s reaction was the same.

“Miss Y/N, it seems you’ll have to accompany me since Mr. Malfoy refuses to be separated from you.” You nodded and adjusted Draco against your chest. After saying goodbye to the others, you followed the professor to her office. You knew that Professor Dumbledore was away on Ministry business, which left you wondering how this situation could possibly be resolved.

“Miss Y/N,” McGonagall sighed as she sat at her desk. You took a seat across from her, still holding Draco in your arms. “I’ll contact Mr. Malfoy’s parents and work with the other professors to investigate how to reverse this. I suspect which spells were used, and if I’m correct, the effects should wear off in about a week. However, I’ve never seen anything quite like this before. I must ask a personal favor of you.”

“Of course, Professor.”

“Take care of Mr. Malfoy. You’re a capable student, and I trust you can handle it,” she said with a resigned tone. “It seems he won’t let anyone else near him, so this is the best way to maintain peace at Hogwarts for now.”

“I’ll do it, Professor,” you agreed with a nod.

“I’ll keep you informed, Miss Y/N. You may go now—it’s time for dinner. I’ll make sure you receive everything necessary to take care of Mr. Malfoy, including food for him.”

You left the office, still struggling to process what had just happened. You finally exhaled when you spotted Blaise walking toward you.

“Y/N, the professor sent me with this.” He handed you a bag, and when you peeked inside, you saw a collection of baby clothes. You sighed as Blaise burst into laughter.

“Well, at least he’s a baby and not the grumpy version of your boyfriend,” he teased.

“I think I’d prefer my grumpy boyfriend… but thanks, Zabini,” you replied, hurrying to the nearest bathroom to change Draco. Thankfully, he stayed calm and obedient as you worked, much to your relief.

It was going to be a very long week.
