Adam and Jonah walked down the dark hall to a room, they followed Alt.Cesar who stopped suddenly. "Remember, we are dealing with alternates, luckily though Gabriel isn't here because he was busy with something, so Emily, Gabriel's helper is here and she is kinder than him." He said, and with that he opened the door and allowed Adam and Jonah to walk in first. As soon as they all got down the stairs they sat down in front of Emily. Adam was surprised at how Emily looked, she was almost taller than him, her eyes were rose gold and she had these wings that when stretched out looked like hawks wings but gold. Adam looked over to Jonah who's paws were tucked under their tail, since they were all in fox form, Adam quickly did the same. "I'm guessing that we are ready to start!" Announced Emily. "We are here to make it so not every alternate goes to hell when and if they die." Said Alt.Cesar. "We do have proof that alternates can be innocent." Emily nodded, "Show me." Alt.Cesar nodded and made a portal that was only used for looking though things. "Really, this shows your past Alternate Cesar." Said Intruder. "There isn't many innocent alternate around right now." Said Emily. This happened for a whole 20 minutes until, "But he was right Emily!" Adam wanted to tape Jonah's muzzle shut to not get Emily mad. Thing went almost like the song, You Didn't Know by Hazbin Hotel if you know that series, but with an idiot in the background. "Wait, what are you saying!" Said Alt.Cesar who sounded confused and kinda angry. And again things went like the song, with Alt.Cesar and Jonah as Emily and Charlie, in that order. "Jonah, we have to leave now." Said Adam trying to get Jonah up stairs. "No! Emily might agree with us and we need to stay for that!" Said Jonah. "Oh don't act like you life is flawless, because you little boyfriend has a secret!" Said Intruder. "Dad, don't!" Said Adam, his voice starting to shake. "Adam is an alternate just like us!" Intruder said while smiling. Jonah staggered back and stared back at Adam, terror in their eyes. " Well looks like the alternate is out of the bag!" Said Preacher mockingly. The room was silent until Adam ran away, unable to handle everything. He turned into his "human" form and ran back into the house that he and Jonah live in, locking himself in his room.
"Adam?" Jonah said, they were physically back to normal aka being a human and not a fox, but mentally was a whole other story. Jonah walked over to Adam's room, trying and failing to open the door. "Adam, please open the door." Nothing, just quietness. "I'm not angry, I just want to walk to you." Adam finally unlocked the door and opened it. "You, look like you've been crying." Said Jonah softly. Adam just hugged Jonah, sobbing. To be continued.
