Chapter Text
In the heart of a serene garden, a young lady sat gracefully, her delicate fingers brushing through the vibrant petals of flowers swaying gently in the breeze. Above her, birds glided and chirped in a harmonious symphony, their melodies mingling with the whispering leaves. She exuded a calm stillness, her gaze lost in the gentle dance of nature around her.
But then, her expression changed. The lively world she watched with such tranquility began to dissolve. Her eyes, once filled with the vibrant hues of the garden, now stared into an empty void. Slowly, she rose to her feet, her movements languid yet deliberate. As she stepped forward, the world around her began to distort, flickering and twisting like a corrupted image. The lush garden warped, its colors draining away into a sterile white.
In its place stood a stark research lab, cold and unwelcoming. Red lights pulsed ominously, casting elongated shadows that stretched across the walls like grasping hands. The air was thick with tension, punctuated by the urgent shouts of scientists echoing through the corridors. The sterile environment vibrated with a chaotic energy, as if the very fabric of reality was fraying at the edges.
Ahead of her loomed a set of imposing black double doors, sealed tightly. As she drew near, a grotesque claw, jagged and ink-black, erupted from behind the doors, scraping desperately against the surface. The claw twisted and writhed, struggling to pry the doors open. From the left side, slithering black tentacles emerged, their slick, serpentine forms forcing their way through the widening crack, writhing and wriggling with a hunger for freedom.
The doors groaned, inching open, and from the darkness beyond, seven pairs of glowing eyes peered through. Each gaze burned with an otherworldly malevolence, watching, waiting. Sinister laughter reverberated from the abyss, a chilling sound that intertwined with guttural, inhuman roars. The very air seemed to tremble under the weight of their presence.
A voice broke through the cacophony, sharp and filled with dread. "They’re waking up... and trying to break free!!" The warning was followed by a rising crescendo of panic, scientists screaming as chaos erupted.
And then—silence.
The world flickered once more, and in an instant, the oppressive lab was gone. The lady found herself seated back in the garden, her calm demeanor seemingly undisturbed. Around her, small rabbits nestled in the grass, their bodies still. Were they asleep? Or something else?
The young lady smiled faintly, her eyes reflecting an eerie serenity as she gazed at the motionless creatures. The garden seemed peaceful once more, but the undercurrent of something dark and sinister lingered, a quiet threat veiled beneath the tranquility.
