Miku waited backstage, a show had recently finished up, and she was talking to all the other vocaloids she had sung with that night. They all had a blast tonight, Miku never got tired of seeing the crowds praise and sing along with them. However, tonight she had a very special guest she had to meet. Any second now!
“Grandpa! You made it!” She exclaimed, running up to the elder in his wheelchair.
“Of course I did! You and all your friends were so good. I’m so proud of you, my daisy.” He speaks slowly, slightly choppy, to the point some would say off-putting, Miku doesn’t think so. It comes with his age. He’s still clear enough for her.
“Thank you, I’ll make sure to tell them that!”
“How about we go get ice-cream together?” It was something IBM always got after her shows, it’s become routine whenever he could come see her.
“I’d love to! I’ll pay this time, don’t worry.”
“That’s so sweet of you, Miku. Are you sure?”
“Anything for my grandpa!”
As they head out of the venue to go to a parlor, Miku notices her grandpa humming his favourite song, to which she joins along. She’s proud of her grandpa, even if she doesn’t say it out right.
”Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do.”
