your entrance theme played, causing the crowd to erupt with cheers. you were playing a bubbly babyface, someone who was easily likable and someone to get behind whenever you were in a title feud.
today, you were geared up to have a match with candice lerae, who was gonna be accompanied to the ring by nia jax. you knew both her and nia were gonna be hard challenges, but you were determined to defeat candice.
her theme played, and out came her and nia jax. the duo were met with boos from the crowd, you smirked hearing the reaction that they were giving the duo, it felt satisfying to you seeing that they also hated them just like you did.
the bell eventually rung, and you and candice locked up. it was a test of strength, resilience and overall to see who was the better woman in the ring. but during the match and before you can execute your signature spinebuster to candice, nia went up on the edge of the ring to distract you.
she was trashtalking you, trying to get your attention but you didn't budge, landing your kick on candice and you tried pinning her to get the win, only for the count to be two and for candice to kick out. the battle was still ongoing, and you know you had to fight harder to win.
since her plan didn't work, nia decided to interfere physically by punching you so candice can get the win, but when she tried to execute the action, your girlfriend's music started to play. the crowd cheered as michin came out with a kendo stick and fought off nia jax for you.
this distracted candice, stopping her beating of you and getting out of the ring to fight michin, but then you dragged her back in there, executed your signature spinebuster and lined her up for your finisher, which was the moonsault.
you pinned her right then and there when she was out of it, and the ref counted the pin.
one!
two!
three!
the bell rung, signaling your victory over candice. it was a well-fought match and you smiled once you saw michin finishing her own attack on nia.
now backstage, you went up to her and gave her a tender kiss to the lips.
"hey, thanks for the helping hand out there, baby." you said, smiling.
"no probs, if they give you trouble again, just let me know and i'll handle it, mkay?" she responded, still holding the kendo stick in her hand.
"alrighty, i will." you simply chuckled.
