Summary
After a disastrous fight with her best friend Shauna at the end of senior year, Jackie Taylor heads to Rutgers alone, carrying a chip on her shoulder and a determination to prove Shauna wrong. With no clear direction, she unexpectedly finds herself befriending people she never would have associated with in high school, a friendly gym bro, and a physics professor who inspires a passion for knowledge Jackie never saw coming.
But when Jackie’s new path leads her to a physics conference near Brown, she’s forced to confront the reality she’s been avoiding for over a year— Shauna. As old feelings resurface and buried emotions rise to the surface, Jackie must decide if she’s ready to face the girl she’s been running from or if everything will come crashing down around her.
