Summary:

A prequel to the events of Sword and Shield where the events are following a rewritten story inspired by a video from Fudj called "Rewriting Pokemon Sword and Shield"

Notes:

Reader in this case will not be using Y/N, it's a little immersion breaking for me, sO Hanabi or, Firework will be used as the "Name" for the reader. It's never distinctly mentioned, but Han is also shorthand form for it. No appearances will be described for them, outside of being shorter than the male leads, Leon and Raihan. The only things that will be mentioned are the outfits that are worn! Most of which will be league uniforms lol~

“You have a new message!”

The young gym leader of Motostoke looked up from their book, letting their Rotom phone read the message out loud.

“Yo, gym leader meeting later this week, Chairman’s treating us before the busy season,”

The leader sighed, seeing the message from fellow gym leader Raihan and typed out a response,”Lmk where and when,”

*Ping*

“Rose Tower, Friday around 8:00,”

“I’ll see you guys there then, is it normal for Rose to treat us to dinner before a season? I don’t remember dad going to one before a season but I remember it when the season ends,”

Raihan only sent back a shrug emoji, causing them to sigh. This was going to be an interesting dinner then.

Hi! So this is mostly to gauge interest, I figured there was a really interesting version of the sword and shield story that was on the internet and I wanted to write the story that went up to it! The video is from Fudj, and I really enjoyed it! I think it covered a lot of the musical bits that were my issue lolol I hope you guys enjoy this little story leading up to Hop and Gloria's adventure~!
