It was the first Saturday in the year 1983. Inside a mothership hovering over the city of New Haven, 2 human disguised Visitors were talking about the rumors of human resisting. One was disguised as a blonde human male, while the second was disguised as a dark haired female.
"What do you think about the rumors of humans resisting our people?" asked the blonde male, who was the captain of the ship. His voice also echoed.
"I have no idea. We have to be careful about this. We do not want the humans see us as their enemies," answered the dark haired female, in an echoing voice, who was the second in command of this mothership. They have heard how some humans are now fighting their people. It make them uneasy to be on this planet. If the rumors are true, taking over this planet will become harder to do.
"I has talk with Roger, the captain of the New York Mothership. He believe that this groups of humans will make it harder for us to take over this planet," echoed the captain.
"We need to do something, but in a way that make sure that the humans will not see us as their enemies," agreed the second in command, in a echoing voice. The captain thought about what his second in command has said. He has to admit that the second in command has a point. Of course, he won't said that out loud to her. He remembered when being in the defense force was a badge of honor, but that was before the Great Leader took over the government. He saw how much it has changed. He wished that he was anywhere, instead of this planet. As much as he wanted to save his people from becoming a dead race, he wondered why his people must come to this planet. There are easier planets to take over. The humans may be animals, but they are feeling animals. If the humans of this planet see his people as a threat to their having a future, they might become a threat to his people having a future. If the humans decided to go to war with his people, he has doubts on who might win. For all he know, the 2 races might end up wiping each others out.
"Is something wrong? You seem to be lost in thoughts," echoed the second in command. His mind snapped back to the present. He was reminded of the mission to save his people.
"I was lost in thoughts. I was thinking how things can go wrong. There are other planets beside this one. I know how important this mission is, but I can not help to think how things can go wrong. It is part of my job to think about it. I hope that we are successful in this mission," echoed the captain. The second in command looked at him. He has to think of anything that could go wrong in this mission. She has to admit that the captain has a right to be worried. If anything go wrong with this mission, the Voeian race might not have a future, and she doesn't want to think about that at all. The end, for now.
