Six + You

Summary:

A series of short reader-insert stories. Mostly platonic/you being friends with the Matsu sextuplets, but some may be romantic. Feel free to request/suggest one!

Chapter 1: Nail Painting

[Reader/Todo, Reader/Kara, platonic]

"Your nails look nice."

You look up to see who complimented you and see Todomatsu smiling at you.

"Thanks," you say, "I painted them myself."

"Can you do mine?" Todo asks.

"Sure." You say. "I have a few different colors... which would you like?"

"Pink, of course." He picks up the bottle he wants and hands it to you.

"Lay your hands down," you tell him, "palms down, fingers spread." He does, and you carefully apply the glossy pink polish to his nails. He smiles at you. "Wait about 10 minutes for those to dry." You say.

He nods. "You did a nice job, they look good!"

"I think you pull off painted nails well." You say.

"I always liked the idea of it." He says. "I just never did it before."

A moment passes, you humming quietly and Todomatsu blowing lightly onto his nails to help dry them, and then Karamatsu steps into the room. "Hello, my dear brother, and my dearest friend," he greets the two of you, "what are you up to?"

"I did Todomatsu's nails." You say. Todomatsu shows them off. You show Karamatsu your nails, too. "Want me to do yours?"

He hesitates a moment, then sits down and nods at you. "Blue," he says.

"Can do." You say. "Palms down, spread your fingers apart."

You notice his face is a little red. It's cute. You paint his nails with the blue polish, and then smile at him. "Wait 10 minutes for your nails to dry and be careful." You say.

He nods. "Thank you."

"Your nails look nice." You tell him.

His face goes slightly redder. "It feels weird. I've never had my nails painted before."

"It is a weird feeling." You nod. "Once the polish dries it'll feel fine, though. And your nails will look really cool."

He looks at your nails, then at Todomatsu's, then finally his own, and smiles. "They do look nice. I like it. You did a good job."

You pick up your phone. "Group selfie!"

Todomatsu dashes over to sit beside you and be in the picture. He does a peace sign, showing off his nails. Karamatsu puts his glasses on and keeps his hand on them to show off his own nails. You press the button and take the photo.

"Tag me in that when you post it." Todomatsu tells you.

You nod. You caption the photo with "nail painting fun w/ friends", tag @-todomatsuno and @-karamatsuno, and post it.

Chapter 2: Sleepover

[All/Reader, platonic, request]

The Matsuno house was fairly small and messy, which was to be expected, and it felt comfortable. You'd been invited over to a slumber party. Dinner had been great, and now it was movie time. You sat down, draping a blanket over yourself. Todomatsu sat beside you and cuddled up to you. Then an argument broke out.

"Hey, Totty, no fair! I wanna cuddle (name)!"

"No fair, I want to!"

"I met them first!"

"They like me best!"

"No they don't!"

You sighed. "HEY! We can all cuddle. Cuddle piles are better than two-person cuddles anyway, the more the merrier."

Instantly the sextuplets piled all over you, snuggling up as close to you as they could. Ichimatsu, Odomatsu, and Todomatsu rested their heads on your lap. Karamatsu sat on your right with an arm around you. Choromatsu sat on your left with his head on your shoulder.

You picked up the DVD remote and pressed play. Halfway through the movie, you were all asleep.

Chapter 3: Sick

You're sick. The Matsuno sextuplets decide to help.

You lay on the couch, sniffling slightly. Ugh. You'd caught a cold, and it wasn't at all pleasant. Your throat was feeling a bit sore from post-nasal drip, your nose was running, and you basically felt like crap. You wore a mask so you wouldn't get anyone else sick.

"Anything we can do to help?" Choromatsu asked you.

Oh, right. They'd been so strangely quiet that you almost forgot the Matsuno brothers had come over to help when they heard you were sick.

"A cold cloth for my forehead would be nice..." You muttered. "And maybe a glass of water and an ibuprofen..."

"Alright." Choromatsu said. "We can get those for you."

You coughed. "Thanks."

"A cough, nasal congestion, sore throat, and headaches...?" Karamatsu thought over your symptoms. "Oh, no. They're dying!"

"It's just a cold." You said.

"But your symptoms match those of the deadly rhinovirus." Karamatsu said. He hugged you. "How dreadful! Don't worry, I'll stay with you. You won't die lonely!"

You laughed quietly. "Really, I'm not dying. It's a cold. Maybe a fever. Nothing that bad. Also... I've never heard of this 'deadly rhinovirus'."

Osomatsu placed a cloth on your forehead and handed you a cup of water and two ibuprofen, like you'd asked for. "Here you go."

"Thanks." You said.

"Karamatsu, what're you doing?" Choromatsu asked.

"He thinks I'm dying." You said.

"They're not dying, Karamatsu." Osomatsu said.

"I told him that. I don't mind the hugging, though." You shrugged. ...maybe he didn't even actually think you were dying and it was just an excuse to hug you. That seemed like something Karamatsu might do.

You sneezed.

"Gesundheit." Todomatsu looked at you.

"That was loud." Ichimatsu commented from where he sat a few feet away with a cat on his lap. "You startled my cat."

"Sorry." You said.

"I think Karamatsu is falling asleep on you." Osomatsu told you.

"Wake up." You poked the second Matsuno. "If you fall asleep on me you might get sick too."

Karamatsu sat up. "I'm not falling asleep. I was just relaxed."

"Sure." You said.

"You're sure you're not dying?" Karamatsu asked you.

"Absolutely sure." You nodded. "It's just a cold."

"Okay, then." He said.

"Thanks for coming over to take care of me, guys." You said.

"You're welcome." They said in unison.

You smiled and closed your eyes. "I'm gonna take a nap. So be quiet, okay?"

"Okay." They responded.

"You need your rest. Go ahead and nap." Choromatsu said.

"Yeah. Thanks."

You fell asleep easily and slept well. You felt better when you woke up.

[Kara/Reader, platonic]

You looked at yourself in the mirror and struck a pose. You smirked and adjusted the sunglasses. You laughed.

"Has anyone seen my jacket and shades?" You heard Karamatsu ask. Oh, he was awake now. Crap. Footsteps came toward the room you were in. The door opened. "Hey (name), have you seen my..."

You'd been caught. "Uh... hi, Kara..." you muttered.

"Oh. So that's where my jacket and sunglasses went." Karamatsu smiled. "You took them."

"I just wanted to wear them once." You said.

"You pull it off well." Karamatsu said. "My perfect fashion looks good on you."

"As good as it looks on you?" You asked.

"Maybe even better." He said. "You should wear it more."

"Maybe I will." You said. "I like it."

Karamatsu grinned. "Well if you're allowed to wear my clothes, I'm gonna wear yours at some point."

"Go ahead." You smiled at him. "They might look good on you. Or you might look like a total dork. Either way I'll enjoy seeing you in my clothes."

"Not as much as I enjoy seeing you in mine." Karamatsu said.

"More than you enjoy seeing me in yours." You said.
