It was a nice sunny summer day after summer classes.
Anyone would think that it would be a nightmare, to go to school on vacation,Accord had insisted so much that Sig needed to control his magic better and Amitie had to practice her magic more, both did not understand why but they could not refuse.
At least for Sig and Amitie when they left they could always go somewhere together, and because of the heat they decided to go for ice cream parfait.
They had been dating for a while so this could be considered as dates, but it wasn't strange since they both felt it was natural to spend time together, they felt calm and happy to listen to each other, so this was nice for both of them.
They went to their favorite local cafe, where they sold ice cream cups with fruit and whipped cream called "ice cream parfait".
Amitie as always ordered caramelized strawberry flavor and Sig ordered sour blueberry
Sig was about to take a bite of his ice cream when he noticed Amitie staring at him with curious and bright eyes...
Sig knew immediately that it was her way of asking for a bite of his ice cream because she was curious about the flavor, but maybe it would be better to make sure first.
-“Amitie”-he called her, turning her gaze away from his blue ice cream instantly.
-“Y-Yes? What's wrong?”-Amitie answered somewhat confused while she was embarrassed thinking that Sig noticed that she was staring at the mysterious ice cream flavor, maybe he could even get angry...
-“Do you want to try some?”-Sig offered gently but with a look and monotonous voice of disinterest while he brought the ice cream to Amitie so she could take a spoonful.
-"Gasp* would I?!!!”-Amitie answered happily while looking with bright eyes at Sig.
-“ye”-Sig answered slightly raising his shoulders.
But then Sig was somewhat surprised, as he watched with a drop of sweat as Amitie began to take more than one spoonful and slowly began to finish all of his ice cream.
-“mmmmh it's so yummy! Who would have thought that sour and sweet would make such a good combination? I had never tried it before”
...Ah! That's right
Sig thought as he remembered a peculiarity of his best friend…
Amitie really likes sweets, maybe not to an obsessive level like lermes, but he knew that this specific type of dessert was her weakness, maybe she could eat a giant one if she could, that's how big her love for this dessert was...
-"But Buuuut the sweet strawberry is definitely my favorite *nom *nom"-Maybe without noticing it in her daydream Amitie began to devour her second prey of ice cream after having finished with Sig's...
Sig just contemplated the massacre of the desserts while his dry mouth regretted a little for having put his ice cream dessert with cream and fruits so close to a sweet devourer of that specific type of desserts.
After a while Amitie had finished while smiling happily satisfied and innocent, unaware of what she had done.
Sig just looked at her while seeing that there was a lot of cream all over the corner of her mouth.
And he thought something for a moment...
-"Amitie can I try some?"
-“Yeah, sure!”-She smiled happily trying to pass him her candied strawberry ice cream parfait so he could try a bite, when she suddenly realized that there was nothing left.
She seemed somewhat distressed after realizing that she had eaten Sig's ice cream parfait on their date.
-“O-Oh no! I'm sorry Sig I didn't notice”
-“Okay, can I try it?”-Sig said as his monotonous but bright gaze approached Amitie's face.
-“W-what Si-?”
He approached her face while slowly licking the edges
And he was surprised…
He had never tasted something so sweet before, was Amitie a dessert or made of one?
He wondered while, like an ant attracted to sugar, he tasted the sweet flavor directly from her mouth.
*Chu
It was a bit cold and tasted like melted strawberry jam with cream but for some reason it felt better than any time he had ever tasted a delicious sweet treat.
When he felt like his lungs had run out of air he slowly backed away as every trace of cream had disappeared from Amitie's lips.
-“Mmmh Siiig! why did you do that!”- Apparently Amitie was embarrassed by the sudden action and pouted in complaint since they were in public-“you just had to ask me to pay for the ice cream”
-“…hmm I guess”-Sig thought for a moment while the aftertaste still lingered in his mouth-“I like this better”
-“E-EH?!”
-“Amitie, you can eat my ice cream as long as you let me try some, okay?”
-“w-w-what?!”-Amitie was left with her face as red as the hat on her head while she felt like her heart was going to jump out and burst at any moment, she didn't understand or process at all what had just happened.
Meanwhile Sig only secretly licked his mouth, impatient to try that delicious sweet from a moment ago again…
(5 years later)
Amitie still had the bad habit of eating the ice cream parfait that Sig had ordered...
-“Maybe we should just order a large one to eat between the two of us?”-Amitie suggested after she finished her parfeit while looking at the menu to order another dessert.
-“No, it's fine like this”-Sig brought his ice cream closer to her, he hadn't even bothered to choose the flavor anymore-“Amitie, don't forget your part of the deal”-Sig smiled a little maliciously as he watched her nervously eat her dessert.
-“O-Okay! I'll do my best”-She said nervously as she looked away after bringing a spoonful to her mouth unable to look at the furtive eyes that were stalking her.
Although later…
she seemed very happy to kiss him in gratitude…
Amitie had become Sig's favorite dessert…
