Work Text:
Jimin shifted in and out of the hazy middle ground between sleep and reality as a head gently plopped onto his stomach. Without opening his eyes, he felt along his torso until his fingers met familiar soft hair. He carded his hands through the short strands and Yoongi hummed.
“Hyung, what are you doing here?” he murmured. His boyfriend only grunted sleepily in response, “…and what time is it?”
“I dunno; your clock’s broken,” Yoongi yawned, burrowing himself further into the mass of blankets and warmth beneath him.
“What?” Jimin said, opening his eyes in confusion. Sunlight from the open window crested his face and he groaned, drawing his eyes tightly shut. When he finally dared to open them again, a quick glance at his alarm clock showed that it was indeed broken. It also revealed the pair of scissors alongside the obviously tampered with wire of the clock.
Sighing, Jimin wrapped an arm around the scrawny boy curled around his side, “You do realize I have work today, right?”
“Five more minutes?” Yoongi asked hopefully, his voice rough and deepened by the effects of sleep.
Jimin sighed, “Five more minutes.”
It was silent for a moment, the only sound the overlapped breathing of the two boys, creating an ocean-like melody.
“Half an hour?”
Jimin giggled and pressed a kiss into the crown of Yoongi’s hair, “Half an hour,” he agreed.
