Mouthwashing is a popular indie game created by Wrong Organ released on September 26 2024 that has gained a huge following and fan base via its unique storytelling and small details. The game starts out with five crew members Curly the ship’s captain Jimmy the ships co captain Anya the ships nurse Swansea the ships mechanic who is mentoring and Daisuke a intern who was added last minute onto a long hall ship tupler. The title screen shows The crew: five people, Planned duration of shipment 382 days, and time elapsed 147 days; those last two things will be important later. Along with this information there are four simple words: I hope this hurts. As soon as you start the game you are met with the ship's control panel and a warning that “an orbital body has been detected” and instructions on how to avoid a crash. While you are technically in control there is no way to avoid the crash. There is not much you can interact with at this point in the game. Eventually you will turn off auto pilots and the words Crash imminent appears red on the screen. There is only one way out of that room and that is into a hallway where there are flyerers all up and down the halls featuring Poney Express mascot Polle, a horse and a motivational quote. After the fiasco of the ship crashing, Tupler is filled with foam. One place in particular is the utility room. This room has the cryostasis pods that could keep people frozen for 20 years for a better chance of being found. Notably there are only 4 pods via Daisuke being added last minute. At this point in the game you can not enter the room via it being blocked off by Swansea. He tells the player that “it’s filled with foam and he doesn’t want anyone to slice a hole in the ship.” and also that he is attempting to “clear it out” but doesn't trust “anyone else to not break a whole in the ship” This isn’t exactly clear but we are playing as Jimmy for most of the game including the crash. There is one thing clear about him besides being a horrible person. That he likes power. Another effect of the crash was the previous captain curly being burnt badly and losing most of his limbs. It is not clear exactly how this occurred but it can be assumed he ran into the cockpit trying to turn the ship after Jimmy set it on course to hit the asteroid. This left Curly bedridden wrapped in bandages head to toe unfit to captain the ship. Jimmy, being co-pilot, moves up into the position of captain and insists he is called Captain. This goes to show he likes power and control. Jimmy has this Hero mentality thinking he can do no wrong. The rest of the crew is in disarray thinking their trust worthy captain curly had crashed them all. None of the crew members learn the truth about who really crashed the ship. The most affected member of the crew is Anya. Anya the nurse of the ship had taken care of curly ever since the cash miraculously kept him alive and gave him the ship's dwindling supply of painkillers to keep him from crying even though she had to drop out of medical school due to lack of money multiple times. We learn the sounds Curly makes when he gets his painkillers makes Anya nauseous. This causes her to ask Jimmy to give Curly his pain killers to which Jimmy lashes out at her telling her that this her job or her responsibility. Saying he has to “take care of everything” He ends up giving him his painkillers as he does this the screen is black and the sounds of pained grunts are heard this implies Jimmy releases his anger out on Curly. Two days before the crash the prospective switches having us play as Curly we can see Anya sitting on the couch looking up the “night time screen” There is a cutscene in which Anya and Curly have a conversation the most memorable parts is were Anya asks how much longer is left on the hall he responds eight months. One detail is that when she is asking him that she has her hands on her stomach it shows she was thinking about the baby and due date. By far the most popular dialogue line is when she tells Curly that if he looks really closely there's a dead pixel in the upper corner Curly tells her that he doesn't see it. Anya tells him that it's alway there in the back of her mind. This could be a parallel between Anya seeing how horrible Jimmy is and Curly trying to ignore the fact that Jimmy, his long time crew mate and friend, is a bad person basically saying Jimmys the dead pixel. Another part is where Anya asks curly “why did they put a lock on the medical room and not the sleeping quarters.” Which he replied “safety” this shows that Curly is not thinking about her but more about the rules of the ship and cares more about his “responsibilities” than he does Anya. Anya is the least respected on the ship by far this is shown by firstly Jimmy taking advantage of her which will be covered more later and secondly by Jimmy treating her like less than a person. Lastly as you know we play from the perspective of Jimmy who is an unreliable narrator and if you will notice we rarely see her the rest of the game in fact the only other times we see her from Jimmy perspective is when he lashes out at her and when she is dead. There are many different speculations on why Jimmy crashed the ship, one being that after learning this would be the last shipment and the pony express was closing at Curly's “ birthday party” it made him angry that he was losing his job whilst Curly would get what he wanted, a fresh start. The other speculation is that after Jimmy sexually assaulted Anya and caused her to become pregnant the guilt and fear of being discovered drove him to crash. I'm not sure if Jimmy was aware of the fact that Anya had told Curly or if Curly had somehow figured it out but that could explain the sudden panic in him realizing someone else knew. One small detail is that after you exit the cockpit and enter the hallway after turning off auto pilot along with the posters a jumbled up line of multiple Polles are zipping around the halls. In the background you can faintly hear a baby crying. This shows that the second theory is most likely correct, being that the child was the last thing he was thinking about as he crashed the ship. I also think it's important to mention that any time he is thinking about the pregnancy is only thinking about the child, not Anya. Seven days before the crash we are in the medical room playing via Curly’s perspective. It seems to be the end of a mandatory psych eval given by Anya. She seems to be disappointed by his lack of opening up saying that he gave the “Same answers as last time.” The mood shifts Anya seems uncomfortable saying she has one more eval left, Jimmys. Anya explains that Jimmy seems to take the Evals as a joke making inappropriate comments like “ I have found my self sexualy attracted to cartoon horses” referring the Polle the mascot one detail is that Anya and Polle have the same color scheme and later we see a figment of Jimmy's imagination showing a horse fetus. Another parallel between the two is that as the guilt creeps on “Judgement Day” jimmy hulusinates Polle standing atop bottles of mouthwash Polley says things like “I know what you think of this predicament of yours” and Jimmy replies that he knows he messed up and that he's is “taking responsibility” the thing is that he never really does “take responsibility” The only time he attempts to do good is when he gives Curly the only remaining cryostasis pod instead of himself. He did this to try and make himself feel better, like a hero. instead of just putting curly out of his misery. Curly tells her that he will handle it. Anya seems very relieved. Before Anya leaves she hands him a note from Swansea saying “They can't expect me to perform miracles.” Curly leaves the medbay and heads into the utility room seeing Daisuke stuck in foam and Swansea standing over him. Swansea requests that Curly get him the axe to get Daisuke out of the foam which he does. After freeing Daisuke, Curly hands Swansea the axe letting him keep it; this will have a huge consequence later. The relationship between Daisuke and Swans seems to be sorta father, son with Sansea says the Daisuke is just like his “useless kids.” After Curly handles this he moves on to Jimmy's eval but instead of taking it seriously he jokes with Jimmy about the comment he made about the horse. before having a deep conversation about where they are in life and about climbing the corporate ladder. Jimmy says that it seems Curly is on the top rung of the ladder while he's still on the bottom. Curly expresses his desire to be something more than just a captain and to start over. This conversation is reflected when post crash curly have a fever dream featuring the flashing “crash imminent” and ladders. This could also be a reflection of how Curly feels responsible for the crash even though he didnt cause it. As their talk is getting to a stopping point a letter from corporate prints out and Jimmy takes that as his cue to leave. The note reads that poney express is closing down and this would be the last trip meaning all of the crew would lose their job. Six days before the crash.we are playing as Curly decides to break the news he walks to the main/lounge area where he is “surprised birthday” We learn that the crew only gets one party per trip and it was Curlys turn. They tell him that he has to make his own cake via him being the only one that has clearance. You are able to interact with the crew, you learn that Swansea likes the cake a lot. You can also talk to Daisuke where he asks if you could maybe add an extra packet of sweetener in. Once the cake is made the crew sits down at a table and insists that Curly give a speech. Curly reluctantly agrees and instead tells them about how they are all being let off via pony express closing. The entire crew is understandably upset. Jimmy seems enraged, telling Curly that he “got what he wanted.” Two months after the crash. The crew decides to break into the tupler storage room. Anya seems the most hopeful, hoping it will have food or water or maybe medical supplies. When they get into the storage hold it seems that they have all been risking their lives for mouthwash. Anya is devastated the sugar contents makes it so it couldn't be used as medical supplies while on the other hand Swansea seems ok with this immediately opening the bottle and drinking it saying “15 years of sobriety popping like a cyst.” and asking Daisuke if anyone had every taught him how to drink like a man. This results in Swansea passing his bad drinking habits onto Daisuke. Later in the game there is dialogue showing laying on the floor holding a bottle of mouth washing drunk. Jimmy asks him how many he had this results in Daisuke telling Jimmy about how his mom wanted him to take this job and calling himself a screw up and good for nothing and that his mom called him a slacker. And that he hopes she doesn't blame herself. Before telling Jimmy to take the bottle from him. This dialogue really shows Daisuke's character from a different standpoint. It's a stark contrast from his usually optimistic self. Back in the cargo hold Anya says that she's not going to drink any. Four months: after the crash we see Swansea clearly inebriated, dancing to music. After observing this Jimmy walks over to Anya holding a bottle of mouthwash. She cries out as he approaches saying that he “just startled her.” implying that just Jimmy's presence is threatening to her. He asks her if she's thinking of drinking the mouthwash and she says maybe but that it wouldn't fix anything referring to the pregnancy. She then tells Jimmy that there's some other medicine not stored in her office/med bay. He asks why she's never mentioned it and she says that it's covered by foam but that they could maybe break it with the axe. Jimmy then walks back over to a still dancing Swansea asking him if he can have the axe which Swansea replies that it was entrusted to him by their leader and that its a big responsibility before throwing it a the daytime/nighttime screen shattering the screen telling Jimmy that if he wants it that it's all his. We then cut to Jimmy standing outside a first aid kit box and interacting with the foam to reveal the box. Anya seems to be very happy about this saying things like “oh wow” and “you did it jim” This is her trying to gas up Jimmy's ego before she asks him if he could give Curly his painkillers again because it still makes her really nauseous to which Jimmy lashes out saying “your not serious” and “i've entertained your sentimentality up until now but i'm trying to actually fix things.” This shows that he sees Anyways job as something non important. Anya attempts to speak but Jimmy cuts her off and begins listing off all of the tasks that have been presented for the player to do throughout the game. Before telling her that the captan has to “Take fucking responsibility this goddam ship.” Which is one thing he fails to do. Anya replies that she is sorry and that she didn't mean to. Jimmy tells her to go “make sure Daisuke doesn't “choke on his own vomit. She tries to tell him that she can take care of Curly but he says that he will take care of it like he always does. One day before the crash. You start out playing as Curly who walks out of the medical room and into the cockpit where he finds Anya hunched over crying. He doesn't know the real reason behind her crying yet. He asks her “where is it” referring to the gun. He tells her that being let go isn't a reason to hurt yourself. The position switches and we now see a black abyss with Anya laying on the ground. And Curlys dialogue. A detail is that if you notice Anya is now in a birthing position. This most likely doesn't reflect what is happening in the cockpit but it shows the parallel. Curly tells her that she could have come to him if she was feeling stressed. She asks him what he would have done. And he responds “Anything” calling her and the crew “His responsibility” Anya then tells Curly that she wasn't going to hurt herself and that the guns are in a safety case that she cant access and that he knows this. She also says that she hid the case and he requests her to tell her where it is. He says that this “does not have to go on their performance log” and that they will figure it out together. She responds by saying “I'm pregnant.” This stuns Curly he says things like Your what? And who would you be? To which she responds “Captain I told you” He tells that he “Will fix it and that he's known him for a long time and that he will talk to him. Anya tells Curly that she knew he would never give her the gun to protect herself and that the least she can do is make sure he never gets it. Going back to Anya and Polle having the same color scheme and being related is that after the crash Anya sleeps next to the Polle mascot because it makes noise when it detects motion later in the game we can see that Jimmy has smashed Polle. Zero days before the crash. We are still playing as Curly. We are now in the med bay Anya leaning over the empty cot. She tells curly that she told Jimmy and he said “nothing that makes a difference.” Anya also tells Curly that she doesn't want him in here anymore. Curly tells her that he just needs to find Jimmy and that everything is going to be ok. When Curly finds Jimmy he tells him he can fix this Jimmy asks him what will happen when they get back. Curly has no response to this. Jimmy lashes out like he commonly does under stress telling Curly that it will also be his responsibility that he was supposed to have it under control and that that's what he will hear the rest of his life. Five months after the crash. We are playing as Jimmy. The scene opens up as we see a stressed Daisuke telling Jimmy “it's a total disaster” and that Anyas is locked in the medical room. Daisuke says they need to hurry and rescue her. When they reach the door Daisuke tells her that “Help is here” and that he got Jimmy and they are going to get her out. When she doesn't respond Jimmy asks if she can hear him to which she replies “Yeah I can hear you Jimmy” Daisuke asks her if she can really try and push and if there are any wrenches laying around Jimmy seems to have a realization that she may be locked herself in. He asks her if the door is really stuck. She responds “No” This shocks Daisuke who doesn't understand why she would lock herself in. Jimmy tells her that she can't go breaking down at every little hardship. She tells him “You were right all along I should have done this from the beginning. I always believed that our worst moments don't define us. Didn't make us beyond repair.” She then tells him that “this isn't my worst moment” , that it's far from it and that it's the “Best decision she will ever make.” Jimmy realizes her intent and tells her to open the door again and she tells him that “I will take care of it” Daisuke frantically asks her what that means banging on door Jimmy stay silent before saying that Curly is still in there this shows that he is not thinking about Anya but Curly. Jimmy then asks if there is absolutely no other way to get into the medical room to which he responds that there is but it's through the dangerous vent system in the utility room which Swansea is guarding. Daiskuki tells Jimmy that Swansea said it was “Like super mega off limits” Jimmy replies “It’s the only way. A person could fit in there right?’ Daiski tells Jimmy that he doesn't like this at all but Jimmy ignores him telling him that they need to go check on utility. Once they get to utility Swansea says that it's strictly off limits that he's not letting them in and even bothering to let them explain. Jimmy tells Daisuke that it's pointless. And they walk away back into the lounge room. Daisuke asks Jimmy what they are doing to which he tells him that they are going to make a spiked drink to put him out for a bit. Daisuke says that he thinks it's a bad idea and asks him if he's sure it won't kill him. Jimmy tells him it's fine. Jimmy begins to make the drink using mouthwash instead of alcohol but halfway through he figures out that they are out of sweetener. Daisuke reveals that he had hidden a few packs earlier. He reluctantly gives it to Jimmy, still unsure about this, knocking Sw out. This entire dialogue partition implies that Jimmy has made a spiked drink before. The fact that he is so sure it will work. This could be seen as he has made it and used it before It is speculated on Anya. Jimmy and Daisuke walk the drink to Swansea giving it to him which he takes without question. In a few moments he is knocked out and they enter the utility room. They are both shocked as they see that the room isn't full of foam but that there is one pod completely uncovered. They both dont dwell on this Jimmy is sure that Swansea was being selfish and keeping it for himself and Daisuke is sure he “Had his reasons” As the reach the vent Daisuke is hesitant Jimmy tells him that “Everyone is counting on him” and that Sweasna will be proud of him. Daisuke is still unsure but wants to make Swansea proud so he climbs into the vent. You can hear him climbing around the vents before the screen goes black and you can hear yelling as Daisuke is impaled by live wires and metal. You can hear him call out “Anya?” This is the only voice acted line in the entire game. Eight hours till judgement. scene cuts to where Daisuke is laying on a bedroll soaked with blood clearly in pain. You can also see a now awake Swansea kneeling next to Daisuke, his axe laying next to him. Sweasena yells at Jimmy, mad at him for letting Daisuke get hurt. Jimmy tells Swansea that he can figure this out and that he's going to figure this out. Jimmy leaves the room and walks to the medical room with the door now open. This implies that even though Daisuke was bleeding out he dragged himself far enough to open the door. When you enter the room the side of the room where the cot were curly is and that entire side of the room is blacked out. When you walk out of the room you go down a corridor where its endless supply shelves you eventually reach a Polle holding a bottle of mouthwash. When you take it from him it cuts back back to where Daisuke and Sweasana are. Daisuke keeps saying how sorry he is. Jimmy tells him not to talk. The screen goes black once again as we hear Daisuke crying out in pain. Six hours till judgement. Jimmy says the bleeding won't stop and tells Daisuke to stay still and that he needs a second to think. Swansea says “Hey kid can you hear me” Daiski just mumbles before crying out again coughing up blood. Swansea picks up his axe and Jimmy frantically tells him to stop. Swansea says “Daisuke it's ok, calm down. with this line of work. You could have never become like miserable ol’ Swansea what a tragedy. Decades of hauling ass for pony express big mighty bruser with all of his shiny tools. This is where it got me the good life huh? I thought you were dumber than a can of paint always chewing my ear off about nothing. Useless ray of goddamn sunshine. Not an ace student, just a damn good kid doing his best. You could have taught an old good fool like me a lot. Close your eyes Daisuke. At this point you can see Swansea bringing the axe down over Daiski. Jimmy freaks out calling him a monster and saying that he “ has to do everything himself. Swansea tells him that “It's the end of the line he won't suffer anymore because of your delusions.” Jimmy tells him to “stop acting like a hero you've been sneaking around with that axe telling Anya god knows what.” and that he knows about his plan. He is referring to the cryostasis pod in utility. Swansea proceeds to laugh in his face telling Jimmy that he did talk to Anya but that it was her telling him all sorts of things. We can assume he means about Jimmy and the assault. Swansea then tells Jimmy to go ahead and yet in that pod that he has “everything he could ever want on this ship.” There have been plenty of people in the community saying that “If swansea knew about Anya he would kill Jimmy” but this dialog shows that he knew he just chose to not do anything. On Daisuke’s shirt there were pink hibiscus flowers. I think it's interesting that these represent someone dying young and Daisuke was the youngest of the crew around 18-20 yrs old. At the beginning of the game when you go into the lounge you can see a game of sorry at the beginning there are five pieces all representing each of the crew members. Yellow for Swansea, Pink for Daisuke, Blue for Anya, Green for Jimmy, And white for curly. At the beginning the game seems to be in play but by this point of the game the Blue and pink pieces are knocked over this signifies Anya and Daisuke being dead. This just goes to show the amount of detail in this game. After you leave the room that Swansea and Daisuke are in, the task “Get the Gun” pops up in the corner of the screen. When you enter the medical room you can now see that corner of the room. Curly seems unharmed in the same place he was. Anya on the other hand seems to have overdosed on painkillers as she is sitting leaning up against the wall. We can assume from the dialog earlier where she says “You were right I should have done this all along” shows that when Jimmy found out about the pregnancy he most likely told her to kill herself or something along those lines. We also see a lock box under the cot Curly's on. We can find the code for this lock box in the cockpit revealed by using the code scanner. You can now access the gun. The 19th chapter in game is called “TAKE RESPONSIBILITY” when we enter the medical room we see the vent open and a large amount of blood on the ground once you jump into the vent you see a very large vent system larger than the real one being that this is one of Jimmys Hulsontions if you keep walking you will see a Daisuke standing there before he disappears and leaves a pink hibiscus flower on the ground. If you turn now you see an area blocked off by caution signs and the face model of Dasiuk in the caution tape. If you keep walking you will reach a note on one of the vents reading out “No turning back now.” When you back up you will see a small arrangement of Dasikus personal items, a game boy, some weights and most of the flowers there are hands reaching out for the stuff, presumably Dasiukes all with a pink glow. If you keep backing up you find a vent with more caution tape the word “Responsibility” written out on it. The further back you go the fuzzier your vision will get until you clip back into the ship's hallway bottles of mouthwash everywhere on tables and on the ground. A few polly posters on the walls the images depicted get more grim as you keep walking. When you reach the end of the hall it seems like you're falling until you hit a door once you open it you fall more. First through a garden of those pink flowers then through a tunnel of polle posters until you reach another door on the floor opening this one will get you a shortfall you end up in a room with a ton of axes sticking into the wall and an open vent. When you enter the vent it will close behind you. The vent is filled with foam and has a soft blue glow. Eventually the glow will fade to red and you will see the same flower behind a gate. Seeing this flower will put you back into the ship's cockpit. You can hear Swansea calling out to Jimmy telling him to “Get out here” if you go to the menu you can see a blacked out fuzzy image and the words “My hands can't stop shaking” under it implying that it's the gun from the medical room. At the beginning of the game if you open the small cabinet in the cockpit you will see a rope and the words “This could come in handy later.” at that point in the game you can't take it but now you can. You can also take a pipe from the wall. Swansea keeps calling out threats to Jimmy before smashing the doors window and reaching over to unlock the door. The screen glitches and fades into a new seene we now see Swansea tied down to a chair with the gun on the ground in front of him. Once you pick up the gun and select the “Use gun option” It teleports you into a graveyard. There is a lot of fog making it a little difficult to see. We are still in Jimmys perspective and it can be assumed that this is a fever dream or a fake reality as a result of the stress. We are holding the gun and the sound of ringing and a heartbeat can be heard in the background. As you walk you will enter a tomb where there are candles, a picture of Dasuike and that same pink hibiscus flower. Once you enter you have about five seconds before footsteps are heard approaching rapidly. The audio now becomes fuzz and eerie noise playing. As the footsteps grow louder you turn to see Swansea holding the axe in a threatening manner. The way to get out of this ‘dream’ you must repeatedly shoot Swansea before he can land a blow. If you were to fail at this ten times getting killed by Swansea you will unlock the ‘good ending’ award showing that if Jimmy were to die it would be seen as a good thing. After you shoot him three times he will run up on you and hit there is no way to avoid this. After he hits you the screen will go black before you are transported into a room with a blinding white light and two black shadows of Swansea tied to a chair and the other Jimmy standing opposite of him holding the gun. Swansea is the first to talk telling Jimmy that he “has something to say” and telling him to “Shut the fuck up and listen” After you click off of this diologe the background will now show images of that are recorded so poorly you can not make out what they are. Swansea will then go on to tell Jimmy how he “Spent thirteen years half-cut up to my eyeballs. Drunk to put it mildly.” And how suddenly he “Saw a streetlight shining in his face.” calling it the power of god. He then tells Jimmy how he saw a vision of his “Bloated body found in a ditch” and how it scared him straight. He says that after this ‘incident’ he got a credit card and a mortgage “All the things that made a man” He then says that he hoped that he could raise his children to be better than him and that he wanted to think he was “Never one set back from his worst self.” and that the truth is “Discipline. Drive. Routine. The endless fucking desperation to get shit done.” He then tells Jimmy that His wife, His kids, Sobarity, You are all things he had been chasing his whole life. He says that it “Never felt as good as he thought it would” He then says “Those nights spent out of my head sinking into the sofa. Broken glass in my palms. Bleeding dry the funniest thing ever. Old dogs laughing and snarling on a waterbed floor. Mocking the moon for daring to show its face.” That it was all “Nausea and wreckage and vomit and ugly cruelty.” When his only problem was an “Empty bottle. Those were the best days of his life.” He tells Jimmy that he has nothing to hide and is “Ready to face the music.” Telling him that he can “See himself for what he is unlike him” Calling Jimmy “A selfish cowardly motherfucker” and telling him that he can't even see it. This entire monologue shows that there is definitely more to Swansea's story than just a drunk mechanic. He says that he “Should have been able to protect the kid.” Showing that he feels responsibility for Daisuke's death. Saying that “If I could have done one thing right, I wish it had been to give him a small change off this goddamned rock.” Jimmy finally speaks telling Swansea that hes “Going to fix everything” and that “We are going to make it” Swansea responds with “Fuck you” he clearly know that Jimmy wont fix anything. Jimmy then raises the gun right before he shoots the screen glitches out. Chapter 15 We are still playing as Jimmy standing in front of a dead swansea and the gun smoking on the ground. You will now enter the med bay and carry Curly to the main lounge area where we can see that Jimmy has gone around to collect the dead crew sitting around the table. Once you place curly on the table the crew will ‘come alive’ and clap for Jimmy. All of them have dialogue congratulating him and saying happy birthday captain. Anya has the most dialogue saying “Come on Captain you have to give a speech Captain.” and “Our captain, Captain Jimmy.” This whole fake scenario Jimmy has made up to make himself feel better really shows what kind of person he is. You can now pick up the knife. When you do and go into the inventory to use it the words ‘get the job done’ are seen. We can now cut the “Cake” or Curlys leg. One thing people fail too realize is that mouthwashing has religious ideals in it. Curly is absolutely like a ‘Jesus’ to Jimmy. To Jimmy he’s the holder of his sins he even eats the ‘body of Christ’ or. Curly. As you continue cutting you can hear cries and screams presumably from Curly. After Jimmy completely cuts off Curlys limb he tells him that “A lot of people struggle to put food on there plates. But that wasn’t enough Right Captain?” And that the lowest rung of Curlys ladder is the crews highest. He then goes on and on about how Curly could never live at there level. The camera originally pointed at Curlys face zooms out showing the ‘party table’ were we now see the real scene not some made up idea that Jimmy had. Anya,Swansea,.Daisuke all sit dead at the table Jimmy had put party hats on there heads he then tells Curly that “I forgive you we all do.” Showing that even though he was the one who crashed the ship Jimmy is so insane that he has convinced himself that he didn’t. He tells Curly that “We are all going to make it through this” and then “Let’s eat” this is were this scene ends. We are now in a hallway the same one we were in right after the crash except there are more pipes they are all over the walls as you keep going round and round you will reach a hall that has ‘Curlys eye’ poking out of it, we are in another hallucination of Jimmys. All of the eyes looking directly at you. The number of eyes grows as you walk almost the entire wall being covered. Once you go around again you will now be in a ‘new’ area still a ‘hallway’ the walls and floor look like some kind of intestine the hallway leads straight out onto a like scaffolding like railing you can see something in the distance but you can’t make out what it is until you get closer. Once you approach you can see a puzzle. It's Curly who has valve wheels stuck in him and monitors to see what looks like his digestive system. Across from him there is a tv where a old cartoon is playing once you interact with the tv the task ‘Take Curlys leg’ will appear and on the tv the words “FEAST” appears the cartoon is gone and it is now just a close up of a young child eating a type a meal it looks like some type of meat that very much resembles human. You can now leave the tv and go back to Curly if you click the wheels the camera will turn. Once you go into your inventory you can see ‘Curlys leg’ and the words “someday he will thank me” When you open his mouth and feed him his leg you can see it appear on the top camera and see it travel through. When it reaches the bottom camera the monitors will go staticy and the words “HELP ME” will appear on the other tv. After these words disappear we can now see ourselves or Jimmy on the television screen. We can see ourselves walking forward in an endless loop in space . After this loop continues the angle will switch and we can see that Jimmy is walking towards a burning curly. Curly tells Jimmy that he “Wants to go home” to which Jimmy responds “we are home” Curly asks him “why don’t you finish what you started” and “don’t worry if anyone finds me I’ll still be playing the villain” there is no response from Jimmy, Curly tells him “you will still be the better man in the end like you wanted.” The camera flips and we can now see Jimmy and Curly say that he’s “taking responsibility” , one thing that Jimmy has failed at. We can now see both of them Jimmy drops to his knees telling Curly that “No, we can both be heroes” and “We are a team. Like we used to be, me and you.” He then began sobbing. “What happened was an accident and we were trapped.” That is what he tells Curly, this is a lie they were not trapped until he crashed into the ship, he felt ‘trapped’ He says “I made a mistake alright?!” Showing that Jimmy thinks that what he caused was just a mistake. Telling Curly and only curly that he is “so fucking sorry, Curly” Chapter 17: We are back in the vents there are now fleshy swells around replacing a wall. There is a single table and an ultrasound machine. If you press the machine up to the swell you can hear a heartbeat. On the machine we can see a horse skeleton. This is another one of the countless parallels between Anya and Polle. The ultra sound goes dark and we can hear the sound of a baby crying. The same alarm that went off when the ship was crashing is now going off and the vent has a red light flashing. We can hear our own heavy breathing and screaming as we back up the swell burst open and a bunch of jumbled up Polles come bursting out. The screen goes dark. We hear the din of the Polle horse a sound it makes before saying a quote except it doesn’t say the words ‘it really gets rid of that bad taste in your mouth huh?’ Appears referring to the Mouthwash and ‘through wreckage’ every time it speaks the words “Hope this hurts” appear on the screen ‘through silence’ hope this hurts ‘wash it away’ hope this hurts ‘all day fire fresh’ hope this hurts. We are back in the vents. They look normal until you turn the corner and the jumbled up Polle is now on the ceiling. It is still until you reach the end and it jolts moving rapidly along the ceiling it keeps going round and round moving on the walls, floor, ceiling everywhere and every time it passes you can hear that same baby’s cry it gets faster and harder to avoid as the time ticks on. As you keep walking you will enter a new ‘hall’ except this one has just the crew's id cards for all the crew except Anya. The walls and ceiling are covered with them and some are floating around as we get closer and closer to a staircase the floor becomes covered. As you climb the stairs empty bottles of mouthwash fall down at the top of the stairs is the storage room but as the lights click on we can see that instead of organized boxes there are just piled up bottles and at the top of this pile is Polle. This is where Polle tells Jimmy that “hey boss it’s me or what should I call you old man seems a little above your pay grade! Given all of this.” Jimmy says that “pony express is dead and so are you” this is the same conversation I mentioned earlier his hultination. The din chimes and the words “SORRY” flash across the screen. Polle is still atop mouthwash but the background is the nighttime screen. Jimmy tells him to “Shut up Curly tried his best and I did too but he’s the better man. I see that now, we can both make it.” He says that “he will take care of him and that he is taking responsibility". In truth he is not, he is just making himself feel like a hero. Saying that he is sorry again Polle asks him if he “really means that” Jimmy tells him yes and that he “Really fucked up” while yes he did he is only thinking about Curly and how he hurt Curly not the rest of the crew. He tells Polle that he can fix it and that “are worst moments don’t make us-“ he cuts off Polle tells him to wait a minute and hold off and that “if all of this is true then why are so still so concerned with him” talking about Curly. Zero hours before judgement: we are back at the table where we cut of Curlys leg. We can pick him up and Carry him to the task ‘Go home.” Appears once we reach utility we can see that the remains criostasis pod is open once you interact to set Curly in there the screen goes dark when it lights back up we are now in Curlys prospective we can see Jimmy with his hand on the glass telling Curly that it’s ok that’s he’s “going to be ok” he tells him that “he has always had his back he ended up hurting him when he was ‘trying to save us’” he says to Curly that he will survive know that without care he will not. He tells him that he is glad that he got to be his “friend and co pilot” he says that “we fixed it” but then he changes it to “I fixed it” We can see him walk out of view and then a flash of light and a gunshot. The pod then begins to fill with gas and the credits roll.
