The first time Pandora Evans-Rosier had a vision of the future, she was four. She had seen her family all sitting together at the dining table having lunch. After the first time, the visions just kept coming to her, becoming both more frequent and gruesome as she got older.

All she saw was blood, everywhere. Blood all over. The walls, the floor, hell, even parts of the ceiling were painted a crimson shade with it. The room was pretty small, a nursery. In the back corner stood a crib and hanging above it was a day calendar. In the crib was a baby, likely no more than a year old, Pandora thought, and it looked oddly familiar. The only sounds that could be heard were the cries of the baby and people outside seemingly celebrating, chanting ‘the war is over! The war is over!’. She very soon noticed the source of the blood, a woman lying in the middle of the room. The woman looked to be about 20 years old or so, and she had long auburn hair, now tainted with her own blood seeping out from the cuts across her face, the biggest reaching from her left eyebrow to the right hand corner of her mouth. It looked like the woman had been hit with a ‘bombarda’ cast aimed towards her calves, most likely being the reason for the blood splattered all around the room. It didn't take long for Pandora to realize who the dead woman was, her wife, Lily Evans-Rosier, and turning back to the baby, she now recognized him as her newborn son, Harry. Pandora then realized this death, the death of her Lily, her flower, had been the death that had ended the wizarding war, something she had been having cryptic visions of regularly since a few years back. She decided to check today's date on the calendar, hoping that she might be able to save Lily's life if she only knew the date of her impending death. October 31, 1981.
When Pandora finally regained consciousness, she was unsure what had just happened, what time and date it was or where she was. It took her almost two minutes to remember her vision and her present situation. She was at the Rosier manor visiting her twin brother Evan Rosier and his boyfriend Barty Crouch jr, while Lily and Harry were both at home, and another five minutes to check the date, October 30, 1981.
Pandora found herself unable to help. She would never be able to make it home in time to save her wife, there was no way for her to get there in time, she was hours away from home, and besides, she already knew her visions always came true, they always had. All she could do was stand by and wait, knowing that Lily was going to get murdered, their son having to watch his mother get blown up by another witch or wizard, taking her life. Pandora was unable to help.
