What have I done.. What have I done the words rang through Sulpicia’s head as she slowly fell to her knees, the sight or pure horror was in front of her. She had killed everyone she loved was now dead by her hand. Slowly she ran her bloody fingers in her blood soaked blonde hair as tears fell from her red eyes. What had she become and why was she so hungry and her body was so cold. What was going on, a hand laid on her shoulder making her jump but she couldn’t take her eyes off the scene of horror, but she felt so connected to this male who was touching her shoulder, was this the man who changed her. She had no clue but he finally spoke and it made her shiver. “Now, you have no family to come back to and we can not worry about them finding out what you are“ He said almost like he was smiling which almost made the blonde want to cry even more, how could he be happy about that. She tried to forced her shoulder to pull away from him, but it didn’t happen like she was linked to him. “..what have you done to me?” She said with such a shaking voice and the male laugh, it was such a creepy laugh which made goose bumps form all over her body. “I gave you a new life, and now get up and come meet your new family Sulpicia” He said making her name roll off his tongue, it made her closed her eyes. She pushed off the ground and stood up, turned around to see the male already to the stairs exiting the home. She picked up her dress and walked pretty fast up to his side, looking at the group which was standing there. Two with dark hair she could tell right away they were a couple. One looked a lot like the male who had changed Sulpicia, in a way she figured it was his sister. She pulled her hair from her eyes which were super red from the thirst and she turned to the male. “Now, this is Marcus and Didyme Volturi. And the one in the shadows is Caius. ” A blonde male walked out from the gardens and looked the females up and down slowly. He walked over and touched Sulpicia’s cheek which she moved away from his touch, it didn’t feel right. “Aro, I must say you picked some one pretty beautiful and will soon have my own. Maybe even blonde also” He said with a smirk and turned away from them. The dark haired male who had changed Sulpicia took her hand into his. “Caius, you go and find your mate.. I will be taking mine back to Italy.” That was a shock, mate she was made this way to be his wife.
Italy was something she had never expected, the trip was them running like she use to watch the wolves do in the woods where she lived. Vampires, that was what the male said they were. Blood was something they had to have to live and look beautiful. The Volturi castle was just breath taking, she walked into the doors gasping at how everything was just perfect. But it needed a woman’s touch and she could tell the one who the male called Didyme was not into making things look like royalty since they were why look it. The male took her into a room which guards who wore long black and red robes walked over and removed her clothes. Cleaned all the blood from her body and hair, in this huge golden bath tub. Sulpicia was use to being treated like a queen, but this was different and she was trying to understand what was going on. She was already married and now this male wanted her as his. The guards talked to her some calling the male who changed her was called Aro the founder of the coven they lived in. the dress they put on her was red, it was a firm fitting. Aro walked in taking the ring from her finger which was the one her husband gave her a long time ago and he threw it at Didyme who was more then excited to have a new ring for her collection. She thanked her bother and walked out Sulpicia narrowed her eyes hating the fact the woman took the only good memory she could remember about her late husband. Aro finally spoke. “You will be my wife, I changed you into this beautiful creature of the night to be mine. So you will not have anything from your old life understand me” His fingers tickled down her cheeks and she just closed her eyes, in a way saying she understood. But it broke her heart for the fact she was being told to forget and to never look back. A new pair of rings was slipped onto her two ring fingers. Both different but still made everyone know who she was. Marriage.. Again she wasn’t to excited be with some one like this. But the connection was so hard to understand, why did she feel tied to this man and coven. But had no idea why.
It took Sulpicia two years to get use to how big the castle was and all the powers each members had. Her husband could read peoples minds by touch, but yet couldn’t read Sulpicia’s or he just said he couldn’t out of trust. Marcus could see by just looking at a coven who were mated and who weren’t. Didyme some how could inject happiness to anyone who was in a bad mood. Kind of like a happy pill just in human form, it was one reason why Marcus was so happy all the time. Chelsea could bind and tie people together but also pull them apart and make them fight until the death. At the time that was all they had, and slowly Caius appeared with a female called Athenodora as his wife, she looked a lot like Sulpicia just a bit younger. She, Didyme and Athen became very close friends and were joined at the hip.. That was when Aro heard about these two twins who were called witches. He had to got and see them. This is when the coven took in Jane and Alec, the twin who were just as creepy as they are strong. Jane could cause pain on any one just by her mind. Alec could take away all of your senses making you numb. Both be came attacked to Aro and Sulpicia, almost like they were their new parents. Aro made Jane his favorite all because of her power and Alec was Sulpicia’s. More and more the coven grew, even had a hidden leader called Carlisle now this vampire was not like the others. He had a heart. And was with out a mate, but it never bothered him. As the years went on.. Maybe it was a hundred, it was hard to keep up with all that was happening. Carlisle decided to leave the Volturi and make his own coven, with the last name Cullen
This was a major blow to the coven, since it meant some how Chelsea’s power was not working, Sulpicia could see the pain it was in Aro’s face. This man was some one Aro looked up to and thought him as a friend but now, he wanted to leave. He tried everything even had Sulpicia try but they couldn’t keep him from leaving Italy and move to England that was when he met his mate and Edward. Sulpicia took the leave worse then her husband because she had told everything to this man on what she didn’t like and what should be changed in the coven and now he was gone. Sulpicia was not unable to talk to some one like she did him. The years went by faster, many coven members left for others and then Aro found out about a immortal child. That vampires were changing children into vampires, new borns were already hard to control now children. The coven were against this and were going to fix this. Covens who use to look up to the Volturi and believed in their laws were now against them. Sulpicia lost many friends after Aro had killed Kate and Tanya’s mothers immortal child. Even thou they agreed it was meant to be done.. Until Caius killed their mother. Sulpicia thought it was just something that didn’t need to be done. Both Didyme and Marcus felt the same way. And slowly they started to plan on leaving to live with the Cullens. But then Aro found out the Romanians were trying to take over Italy. Sulpicia had never seen so much anger in her husbands eyes. He almost even took it out on her until Didyme took over his emotions and slowly made him smile. The hit on the Romans were not something Sulpicia agreed on, she expected them to maybe make a treaty but never wipe out the whole coven and just leave two alone and to clean up all the mess.
This is when she saw the true side of Aro Volturi and she wasn’t to happy to see it. Didyme finally said it was enough and she was packing in her room when Aro came and snapped her neck off. In Aro’s mind he was not going to loss his sister to the Cullen’s who were animal feeding vampires. The next morning when everyone heard about the fact Aro Volturti’s sister was killed in her chambers and it looked like some one broke in. Everyone was in a panic and Aro acted like it was the first time he heard of it. But Sulpicia knew, she had a feeling. That was when her love for the man changed. Aro announced to make sure the wives were safe, they would be locked up in the right tower of the castle until the threats were taken care of. At first Sulpicia and Athen agreed. They should be safe if it was for a short period of time. Since it was not something she wanted, was some one able to come in and out of their home and kill a fellow sister. But when Sulpicia walked around Didyme’s room something didn’t feel right. It was like her best friend didn’t even fight, which was something she knew wouldn’t be true. That’s how she knew it was some one Didyme knew who killed her. She was not happy that her husband lied. And now she was going to be locked up, even longer then what she said. Sulpicia lost all trust in her husband. Two hundred years went by and the wives got annoyed for being in the tower, Aro assigned Corin the woman who can manipulate Sulpicia and Athens feeling of being up in the tower, and after a while they became numb to the fact they did the same thing every day.
The husbands never came up in to the tower unless it was something important. When the Cullen problem happened it was the only thing the guards talked about. Edward Cullen falling in love with a human and not changing her right away. This was very unheard of in the vampire world. And the fact this girl was being told all about the vampire world like it was nothing bothered the Coven. Aro gave them a deadline, and they agreed to it. A few more years went by, the Seattle army took over and showed them how strong the Cullen’s were but still Aro would appear if they had to and change the Swan girl himself if he had to. Finally there was a invite to Isabella and Edwards wedding. But we got it weeks later making Aro kill one of the humans they had working there for them. Sulpicia was very upset she wanted to see her old friends once more and maybe be allowed out of the tower for the event. It was not until Irina came to Italy did everything change. She had charged the Cullens for breaking the most important law. Making a immortal child, Aro made sure Alice Cullen got the vision of the coming. For once Aro was going to allow the wives out and to come and see this encounter. Weeks it took the Volturi to get witness and people to back up them, even killed some who were on the same side with the Cullen’s and didn’t even go over there just yet. Covered in robed they walked in the snow to the area which they were across from the Cullen’s and many other covens that Sulpicia use to be close friends with. It broke her heart to watch them look so angry and in hate it was something she never expected from them. Aro was talking to Alice and the blonde let her eyes slowly cascaded to the little girl who was in question and she was so beautiful. No matter how far they were from the covens, Sulpicia could see Edwards ears and nose and Bella’s eyes on the child. She already knew before her husband this was not a immortal child and Irina had made a huge mistake and should have gotten all the information before she came to the Volturi leaders knowing how cold they were. Sulpicia flinched and looked away as Caius killed the Denali sister and she shook her head. “It shouldn’t be like this” She whispered and knew Athen felt the same way. This was why everyone hated them, because Aro and Caius were to heartless. Marcus was so numb from all the injections from Didyme and he just wanted to die. He only went by the motions of the day.
For the first time Aro, didn’t want to fight she never knew what Alice had him see, but they were being told to leave. Sulpicia agreed with this and she bowed her head at her old friends and was the last to follow after the coven with Athen. She wanted to go and hug each and everyone one she knew and wanted to know, But she knew it wasn’t allowed. Once back in Italy Athen and Sulpicia were put back in the tower and it was annoying the blonde more then before. So she broke the bond to Corin and threw the woman out of her way as she walked down the stairs and to Aro’s office. It was the first time everyone saw her temper since she was put in the tower. Two guards were killed when she found out the truth on why she was in the tower. She slammed open her husbands office door making him, Caius and Marcus to jump off the couch they were sitting on and talking. Sulpicia had them all in the same room which was what she wanted anyways. “Aro, Caius and Marcus, You WILL let me out of the tower or more guards will be found dead. Corin and Chelsea being the first to go. I will make sure Jane is the last to be killed, since she is your favorite Aro dear.” And with that it was the first time anyone had heard some one speak up to the leaders and with the door open for all to hear. Marcus was the first person to speak on how he agreed with the blonde queen on how it wasn’t like they were really safe. Every coven knew they kept the wives up in the tower and they only had four. Aro and Caius were not to excited to have their wives around the castle like it was but they finally cracked since Marcus did have a good point.
And now, Sulpicia and Athenodora were out of the tower…
