10/11/24 - Before the nuclear war, vampires existed. Simon Petrikov was welcomed to a home by a covert vampire family (males were vampire and females were cursed by the arcane) and later held captive for years. Eventually, he was able to escape with a little girl’s help named Marceline. While they escape, they come across law enforcement who almost took them back to the family before Simon revealed his prior research regarding the Enchiridian. Betty, an officer in training, chimed in recognizing his work and vouched for him. She joins them in escaping.
Once the nuclear war happens and Marceline grows up, she leads a resistance against the growing vampire family/army. Betty is dead and Simon is eternally frozen (and hidden) by her bio dad who has the crown. He’s both demon and vampire (the vampire king turned him during death).
