Match jolts awake, hyperventilating. She sits straight up, trying to catch her breath. She looks around. It's the middle of the night. Great. Match quietly shimmies out of bed. She tiptoes to the window as carefully as she can to not wake anyone up. Sometimes she likes watching the night sky. But today, something else catches her attention.
Pencil and Needle. Laying next to each other.
Match shook her head. She was hallucinating, right? That had to be it. Match hurried back to bed, turning on her side and sighing. It was just a nightmare.
Or was it?
