Eggy paced rapidly and anxiously across the spacious hotel room she had been in ever since she got eliminated.
Eggy was never the type of girl to rue something much- she moved on quickly, easily.
Leafy was a different case. It felt like just yesterday they were playing Tic-Tac-Toe mid challenge, an hour ago Firey yelled out about Leafy stealing dream island, barely 30 minutes ago every single feeling that could even be described as betrayal or put near betrayal in a thesaurus ran through her all at once, 15 minutes ago she broke the friendship off and trashed her with Needle and Firey, and 10 minutes ago she swapped shows.
She hadn’t thought about Leafy in so long! Why now was she regretting her actions? Why now did she WANT to forgive Leafy, maybe even apologize for what she did? She thought she had moved on a while ago, especially with joining TPOT.
Yet that leaf didn’t leave her head.
Being eliminated gave her too much time for herself, too much time to get lost in her thoughts. This should be okay, it shouldn’t bother her.
Regret has a cruel way of eating people up, doesn’t it?
