Lill put on her blue dress and her fake wings, since it was Halloween and she was going to dress as a fairy godmother. She put on her matching slippers and headband and took her wand from the shelf, looking in the mirror. She looked okay.
Lill exited the bathroom, which was in her and Karol’s bedroom and saw Karol almost entirely in her costume. Her costume was the same outfit she used in that one episode in season two, the Night Butcher. She still didn’t have her mask on.
“You look beautiful, honey” Lill said.
Karol smiled, but it was quickly replaced with a frown, “It’s not supposed to be beautiful!”
Lill chuckles, “Oh dear, you know I’ll always find you beautiful no matter what.”
Karol smiled again, but this time she hid it with her mask. Lill still thought she was beautiful.
They left the room hand-in-hand, into the decorated living room. There was paper bats and ghosts, carved pumpkins, and a table of food. Just enough for the two of them.
It was Karol’s idea to have a Halloween party, but just for the two of them. Lill was on board, since it was their first holiday together. Yes, she would’ve liked to invite Ashley, Nick, and Will, but she wanted to spend time alone with Karol. Not in a weird way. It’s only technically their first date, after all.
“Well, shall we get started?” Lill said, taking her phone and starting some music.
“Why not?” Karol asked.
They sat together talking, and drinking the fruit punch that Karol had made. It was quite good, if Lill was honest. But then Karol had the idea to dance. Lill wasn’t the best dancer, but luckily, Karol could teach her.
When they finished, they sat at the table, exhausted, and Lill fed cupcakes to Karol because why not? Karol blushed when she did this. Karol got frustrated, so she smeared frosting all over Lill’s face. Lill chuckled softly, making even Karol laugh.
