Chapter Text
SUMMARY:
Iris has always been a cynic—she hates the rain, crowded places, small talk, and, most of all, people who are too cheerful for their own good. Enter Otis, an infuriatingly optimistic boy who refuses to leave her alone. No matter how much she pushes him away, he keeps showing up, determined to prove that life isn’t as unbearable as she makes it out to be.
At first, his efforts are met with nothing but sarcasm and indifference, but as time passes, Iris finds herself laughing at his dumb jokes, tolerating things she once despised, and—against all odds—craving his very presence.
