The Astral Express Cafe, one of the most renowned coffee franchises out there, founded decades ago by Akivili, the trailblazer.
Akivili always had a taste for adventure and for venturing into the unknown, travelling all across the world to learn about other cultures and customs. It is said that in one of their travels they got to taste the most wonderful coffee in the world and learn more about it’s history and the craft of coffee brewing, inspiring the trailblazer to share their discoveries with as many people as they could, and thus, founding the Astral Express Cafe.
On the menu of every establishment of the franchise there is a section with the tales of Akivili, every single coffee blend and drink explained in detail with a little narrative about how they found out about it. Some people believe full heartedly about the stories, while other are more skeptical and think it’s just a gimmick or a marketing strategy, you decide which side you’re on on this.
The particular Astral Express of this story is owned by none other than Himeko, business woman, visionary and fellow coffee enthusiast. She is considered one of the best managers of the franchise, her knowledge and passion of the craft rivalling Akivili themselves.
Himeko is always updating the menu and trying new things she learned from one of her many trips. Whenever she’s out, Welt Yang is the one that manages the cafe.
The atmosphere of the place is also inviting, everyone who works there is incredibly friendly and people who frequent the cafe end up forming various friendships there due to how easily conversation flows between groups of people and the staff.
Himeko and Welt are, with no doubts, the pillars of the establishment, and the ones responsible for the majority of the work there, but the staff also includes March 7th, Dan Heng and Pom-Pom, who work more as the baristas, waiters and cashiers. And although they can manage the workload, due to increased popularity, Himeko decided to open a job vacancy and welcome a new member to the Astral Express family.
