Late at night, the stars shone their brightest in the sky like tiny diamonds. The moon was at its fullest, filling the atmosphere with life with its light. Stepping through the forest while critters that thrived in the dark scattered around, bringing Zaembi to his thoughts as the message from the local farmer had come to mind. Fambi said I should arrive at her farm at night, I wonder why he said for me to come over.
The warlock Bambi was lost in his thoughts, a bit worried that he might be too early or too late. But that didn't matter now, did it? All it mattered was that he could be able to meet his friend. As he walked under the sign above that had the word "FARM" etched onto it, he was greeted by Fambi, who had just started a fire.
"oHh,, .Hi zAE,MbI,..!. ..yoU''RE JuS..T IN tIm.e,,!!.." Fambi said with a smile, gesturing for him to come over. The fire crackled as the wood burned under its immense heat, releasing a puffy trail of grey into the air as the flame danced on the cracked twigs and chopped logs.
”hey fambi,” Zaembi sat down on a stool that Fambi had made, “how have you been tonight?”
”i’vE …beEn fARmiG, , tH..e uSuaL..,. .,WhAT aBouT YOu?.,,” She had just finished preparing the fire and sat down on a stool, his clothes were dirty due to the amount of dirt that was on them.
Zaembi readjusted the skull on his head, taking a breath in before answering, "i've been practicing on summoning my blorbs more, i think i'm getting the hang of it."
"tHaT"S,,, greAT!.,.,." Fambi exclaimed, shifting a bit in his seat, "..,,cAn I shOW y,,oU sOemtHIng fiRsT..?." The farmer asked, reaching into his pocket.
"sure, what is it?" He responded, leaning in a bit closer out of interest. Ever since he had made a new friend, they had been talking a lot.
"i Uh..,,, mADe t.His foR y.. oU..." The farmer slightly turned his head away as she gave a small, wonky wooden skull that was carved out. One eye was slightly larger than the other and the shape was sort of blocky.
Zaembi took the wooden skull and examined it closely, Fambi didn't like it, but he thought it was great. "wow... this is good... how long did it take for you to make it?"
Fambi perked up, not thinking that he would say that about her poorly made wooden skull. "oOH!.,,... ttHANnks...,,,. it TtooK Me AnN hhHoUr oR TtTWWo....,,.,.,. i"M gLaDDd yyYOu LIKee iT..,.,."
"of course, the effort you put into this just for me is great honestly." Zaembi smiled, still holding the skull in his hands.
"yyOuUu ddIdNt HaVE TToo....,,,.," Fambi chuckled. He felt better about what she had made after Zaembi's compliment.
Their conversation lasted for hours until the fire was nearly gone, both had gone their separate ways until the next time they see each other.
