Work Text:
The sunlight filtered through the unlocked window, gently warming up his skin as he took in his surroundings.
A hand tapping on the other side of the bed before he could even open his hazel eyes. Frowning when he was met with the coldness of the mattress, still molded by his boyfriend’s figure.
The air was filled with a sweet scent that made his stomach grumble, forcing him to get up just so he could follow it.
Half asleep, crumpled clothes and messy hair that partly framed his face as he was rubbing his eyes. Jun headed to the kitchen, hearing a small humming intensify whenever he got closer.
Leaning against the doorframe, and taking a couple of moments just to admire the beautiful scene in front of him.
Dylan was wearing one of his oversized shirts, moving to the rhythm of the music coming from the stereo. Shuffling around the stove as he piled pancakes on top of a plate, filling the pan, and redoing the same process over and over until he hadn't finished all the dough.
Going closer, gently wrapping his arms around his waist and feeling his body relax against his at the realization.
Resting his chin over his shoulder, sniffing a kiss over his cheek as the older’s honeyed laugh echoed across the room at the gesture.
“Finally, thought you would never wake up.”
The rapper’s voice was tender, in that specific tone he only used in the regards of the younger.
A little pout was painting his lips as he said so, flipping the yellow circle over before adding it to the small mountain.
This side of him was exclusively reserved to him, he pulled it out of him in the most natural way, it remained a mystery to this day how.
Never in his life had he felt something so visceral and spontaneous as when they were together.
“Were you missing me?”
Jun mumbled into the hollow of his neck, placing a chaste kiss over the skin of it.
He couldn’t hide the smile that was now lighting up his entire face, his heart so full he was afraid it could combust.
The actor was head over heels, there wasn’t a single millimeter of him that wasn’t completely and utterly lost in the depths of their love. His head was immersed in the kingdom of heaven whenever they spent time with each other, at every attention and touch they exchanged.
Even after months of being together, it felt like the first time, the same excitement crowding their cores.
“A little... But don’t flatter yourself too much.”
Dylan then murmured, cheeks tinted of a soft shade of red that made him look the other way due to the shyness.
Feeling two gentle hands flipping him so they were now face to face, getting stolen a small peck before he could even register it properly.
Feeling a swarm of butterflies attacking his stomach when they locked eyes, thinking he could pass days just looking at them.
Losing himself in the abysses of them and in each nuance they got, making a mental note he jealousy guarded like he was the sole who could access it.
“How can I not when I have such a wonderful boyfriend?”
Jun said as a hand gently moved away his fringe, caressing his cheek and drawing his thumb over the older’s jawline.
Taking in every single one of the details that made him unique, gaze full of fondness.
“Intelligent, funny, brilliant, talented, handsome, endearing, gentle, hot-headed too but I love you even more because of that.”
The younger started listing, mais he could’ve gone on for days even and still wouldn't have expressed all his thoughts.
There were not enough words in the vocabulary to describe everything that Dylan was, nothing came close. On the contrary, adjectives seemed to diminish him and passed unnoticed in comparison.
The rapper slightly pushed his shoulder, face red as if he had never heard the other compliment him before.
Hugging him tightly so he could use that excuse to hide in his chest, enjoying the warmth that his body was providing.
“You are impossible.”
It’s the only thing he said, gaining a laugh from the other who promptly caught him in his arms.
Placing a kiss on his forehead before moving his fingers to caress the small of his back, sketching imaginary circles over the pale skin.
“I love you, baby.”
The words flew naturally out of his mouth, settling in the center of his chest as the world seemed about to stop.
If he had the possibility to freeze time he would use it right now, making this very instant last forever.
Passing a hand through his silver hair and gently playing with a few strands, curling them around his phalanges.
Starting to place small kisses over his face, following his beautiful moles, not losing a single flap and smooching every part of it.
“I love you more, Ju.”
Dylan sealed it with a kiss on the lips, slow and tender as their heartbeats synched.
Saying everything that couldn’t be put into a discourse through this single eternal moment.
Pulling away only when their lunges ached for air, losing themselves in each other’s gazes.
The universe around them disappeared and the remaining of it were the two, nothing but them and their love.
The complain from Jun’s stomach was the one to break it, making him lean over to see the content of the trey placed beside the sink.
“So, it is a causality or were you making my favorite breakfast?”
He licked his lips as he said that, stealing a pancake from the dish, the sweet taste filling his mouth before he could say anything else.
Grumbling because of how good it was, rolling his eyes back as a hand tapped on the table.
“Oh, shut up.”
The older’s face was completely red now, turning his back on him as he went back to cooking.
Hiding the smile that was hinting at his lips.
This was home, he was home.
