In this moment, Felix had longed for your warmth right when the night breeze is cool. His body moving with the last bits of energy he had as he tried to get home, home to his apartment, home to you.
He entered the apartment lobby and straight to the elevator. It was already late as he was the only one there. As soon as he got, he pressed his floor number. He pulled off his beanie, his hair had flattened on his head. He ran his hand a few times through his hair on the chance that it might look better. He still had to at least look charming in your eyes.
The doors opened at his floor, and he rounded up the corner immediately, grabbing his keys from his pocket. He made sure to make as little of noise as possible since you were probably sleeping already. He opened the door and stepped in quietly. He noticed the dimmed lighting in the living area and the kitchen light still left on. What also caught his attention was you on the sofa, phone still in hand but asleep. So that's why stopped replying to him. He smiled as he kicked off his shoes and made his way to you, dropping his bag slowly next to the sofa.
You were lying on your side, hair sprayed across the throw pillow and your blanket barely covering your upper half. Felix took the chance to take a quick photo of you, reminding himself to change his wallpaper later.
"Bubs." He whispered close to your ears, his hand coming up to push away some strands of hair that fell on your face. You didn't move or even showed signs that you heard him. He transferred you phone to the coffee table before fixing your blanket on you. "Let's move to the bed." He continued to whisper, his arms slipping underneath your body to lift you up. You had jolted at the sudden action before immediately relaxing to see Felix's face through your blurred vision. "...Lix?" You mumbled; your face was muffled into his shoulder. He hummed in response, giving you a quick kiss on the crown of your head before moving to the bedroom. "Just moving you to a comfier spot."
He laid you down on the bed but before he could even pull his arms away, you had clung onto him. "Don't leave... please." You whispered, half asleep most likely. "I won't, bubs, I'll just turn off the lights." He patted your arm gently, urging you to let him go. You were pouting which made Felix smile. "But it's cold..." He pulled his arms away, making him chuckle and shake his head. He quickly grabbed both of your phones from the sofa, turning off all the lights on his way back to your room. You were still facing away from him, a pout still on your lips as you were curled up, trying to stay warm.
"Bubs," he went over to the side of the bed, pulling the covers aside. "Please get in." And you did so, scooting yourself underneath the duvet. Felix had followed after he quickly change into a shirt and sweatpants. He tucked the both of you in before turning off the last bed side lamp.
His arms wrapped around you, pulling you closer to him. He buried his face into your shoulder and neck, enjoying the warmth radiating from you. His arms tucked around your waist. This was what he was waiting for all day. Just to be with you, even if it was spent sleeping and resting.
