{memory- loading… loading… buffering at 99.97%. This is considered optimal.}

[Warning: Data from T minus 4 hours and onward corrupted. Possible cause- large power surge.]

[Gathered corrupted data: remaining info suggests <Friend Sasha> and <creator Marcy> present. <box> also relevant.]

[Warning: unexpected power source has increased current power to unforeseen levels. Estimated next required charge- 9…9…9…9…9… hours. Remove from ‘Priorities’ list. Continue to monitor.]

[Visual senses have inferred a hostile environment. Survival mode initiated. Continue to monitor.]

And with that, Anne’s bootup sequence was done.

“…query… where are ‘Friends’?” She looked around.

Nothing.

 

 

 

Notes:

So that was a short one!

with consideration i have decided to not do the planned third part of ‘blurred lines’ in order to keep it a mystery, and leave that to slowly be pieced together. Currently the explanation is anne’s data being corrupted.

If you recognise some of the phrasing in this I took heavy inspiration for the subnautica PDA for this part. Keep in mind this was simply her booting up, she doesn’t have a constant voice with her as I’m bad at writing that sort of thing.
