Reo slowly blinks his eyes open, drowsiness fading away as he lifts up his arm, searching the mattress for his phone. He feels a familiar sensation on his waist, the warmth of his boyfriend, Nagi hugging his waist, quietly snoring.
He finally finds his phone tapping on the screen to it illuminating the lock screen, a selfie of him and Nagi. He looks at the top of the screen, displaying the time. 2:57 AM.
Reo realizes the reason he woke up. He literally had the urge to piss. But with Nagi tightly hugging him, he needed to release himself from him quietly, to make sure he doesn't wake up.
So, Reo decides to slowly pull Nagi's arm from his waist, placing it on a sloth plushie they recently got from a claw machine on one of their dates. He does the same with the other arm embracing him, but it is more diffcult somehow, like Nagi knew he was gonna get out of bed. He readjusts Nagi's arms to be hugging the sloth instead of his waist.
"It's just a bathroom break." He thought. "Nagi won't notice me gone for 5 minutes." Reo then lifts himself up and gets out of the warm bed they were sharing.
He sleepily walks to their shared bathroom, flipping the light switch on, then about when he takes off his pajama pants, Nagi suddenly appears like he teleported or somehow.
"Reo.... why did you leave the bed?" Nagi mumbles drowsily, about to cling himself on Reo again, but Reo stops him.
"I had to go pee, it will only take 5 minutes, and then i'll go back to bed. I promise."
"Why can't you go back to sleep now? Just piss in the morning."
"Nagi.. I really need to go to the bathroom, like right now. Just go back to sleep, i'll be back soon."
"Okay, you can piss now just let me stay here while you do it." Nagi comments with no sign of embarrassment on his face.
Reo processes what he just said and realizes. "What?"
"Just let me hold your hand, I won't look. I just want you to stay next to me." Nagi interlocks his hand with Reo's tightening it.
"Okay, if it makes you happy." Reo proceeds to finish taking off his pajamas, and starts pissing. He glances at Nagi, who is looking at the door, his hand still tightly locked with his.
After Reo is done, Nagi removes his hand so Reo can wash his hands, and then starts clinging on to him again, as they walk back to bed.
"Nagi, get off of me so you can go back on the bed." Reo exclaims.
"I don't wanna." Nagi mumbles almost incoherently.
"Okay, fine, i'll help you get on the bed." Reo lifts up Nagi and plops him on the bed, following up with himself getting on the bed. He tucks both himself and Reo, as he closes his eyes, he feels the same familiar warm embrace of Nagi's arms and falls asleep, with his legs intertwined with Nagi's.
