The Prophet And The Prophecy

Summary:

Yoichi, a boy who was once so inlove with football is now uninterested. That boy who once adored the sport has long abandoned his ambition and interest of it. Yoichi was already content with how little his presence to the world of football but his friend is annoyingly persistent of him to join the Blue Lock with it's recent success.

Jino, a boy with the same interest, a boy who also love and adored football. He who played along side with Yoichi, who honed his friend's skills was set to make his friend play again. Jino who's a devil of his own was set to revive the monster that Yoichi had left to die.

"This project will awaken you again, Yo-kun."

Notes:

Inspired by "Beyond Blue Lock" of CoffeeGone, their story made me want to write a new fanfic about it.

Chapter 1: As The Hand Of The Clock Finally Moves

Chapter Text

Yoichi was absentmindedly walking with his bike at his side at the side of the river, his day ended just like any normal day after school. No club, no friends to stay too long outside, I mean Yoichi do have a friend but that friend was currently out of the country.

'Ah, now I'm missing that prick.' Yoichi can't help but deadpan with his though.

Jino was the only friend that understood him both off and in the field, the friend that Yoichi was thankful for staying by his side and the person he trusts the most.

His peaceful walk was disrupted when his phone rang which made him joly out of surprise. When he grabbed his phone, it was an unfamiliar number— no more like a foreigner number.

"Who the hell is this?" Yoichi can't help but hesitate to answer the stranger's call. As he finally pressed the answer button a familiar voice was heard at the other side of the call.

"Wow I can't believe you didn't even familiarized my number yet."

Yoichi was shocked with hearing his friend's voice that he hasn't heard for a while now. "You idiot! You just brothered to call me now?! And with a foreign number at that! And you expect me to know it's you?!"

A laughter was just heard through the call and somehow it also echoed behind Yoichi. "Yo-kun."

Yoichi turned his back to face the voice behind him. It was his dear friend.

"Jin! You prick! You didn't even tell me you were coming home?!" Yoichi let go of his bike as he ran towards Jino.

Jino laughed at his friend's reaction when his 'coming home without my friend knowing' succeeded.

"I'm back." Jino's hysteric laugh was replaced with a soft smile.
"Welcome home, Jino." Yoichi bumped his fist with Jino.
