One fine day Ash was trying to practice using her magic powers when suddenly her mother interrupted her.
Mother: Ash, have you seen your little sister anywhere?
Ash: She was just playing around in the backyard a few mins ago.
Mother: I checked the whole house and even the backyard, but she is nowhere to be found.
Ash: Maybe she went to play outside for a while, I'll check the streets.
Mother: Alright, but be careful. there have been reports of kidnappings recently... and the witches and wizards too.
Ash: I will!
Ash sets out on a search for her little sister, Chelsea, She searches all the usual paths, but finds her nowhere.
"Where could Chelsea go?" "She was playing in the backyard not too long ago" "She couldn't have gone far right?" Ash thought to herself growing worried.
After searching for a while, her eyes fell on a man standing a little farther down the street, trying to stuff something inside a human-sized bag. Ash kept staring at the bag and the old man as he looked suspicious, she narrowed down her eyes.. just then, a ribbon peeked out the bag. Ash knew right away that the man was trying to stuff her sister into the bag.
The ribbon- made from a rare magical material was given to Chelsea by Ash.
As she realized that, the man noticed her and started to run. Without any hesitation she runs after the man to catch him! she tackles him and knocks him unconscious. With a pounding heart and fear in her eyes, she unzips the bag- inside was chelsea.
Chelsea: Sis!
The sisters were very happy to see each other and hug tightly.
Ash: Chelsea! What did I tell you about leaving the house alone! There are dangerous people.
Ash says in anger but she is also quite happy that she managed to save her sister just in time.
Chelsea: (sobbing) I'm so sorry sis.. I won't do it again.
Ash: Let's get out of here before this man wakes up.
Chelsea nods and agrees with ash and they set out on their way back home.
While they were going through a dark alley they came across two men.
Ash: What are you doing here, Eliot??
Eliot: Mom said chelsea went missing, and you were taking too long, so Hunny and I Came to look for you both.
Hunny: we're glad to see that you're both ok!
Eliot, Ash's older brother, was very cunning and quick-witted, while Hunny, the youngest brother, was kind and innocent. When they heard about Ash and chelsea's disappearance, they rushed out to search right away.
Eliot: So... where did you find chelsea? Is she alright?
Ash: Well... an old man tried to kidnap our chelsea, but don't worry i beat him up. she's fine.
Eliot: WHATT?! Are you ok??
Hunny: (worriedly) Nothing happened to you.. right sis?
Ash: Relax, I'm fine. We should be more worried about ourselves right now... hopefully we don't run into any trouble.
Hunny: (trembling) You're right, i heard a lot of bad things happen in this alley... we should get out of here.
Eliot: Don't worry, nothing will happen to anyone when i'm around!
Ash: still... better safe than sorry, you know.
Eliot: Right.
The siblings try to cross the alley without catching anyone's attention, but some kind of shadow keeps following them, with every step the shadow keeps getting closer and closer.
Hunny: I think... we.. are.. being.. followed.
Eliot: Oh, you think? We are definitely being followed... the magic source seems very strong, i don't think i can fight it either.
Chelsea: (concerned) We will.. make it home, right.. sis..?
Ash: Yea don't worry chelsea.. we.. will be alright, i promise.
Just then, the shadow that was following them now multiplied to three. They all tried to lose the shadows but they got surrounded by the three shadows.
Eliot: Oh no, this is bad... WHO IS IT! REVEAL YOURSELVES!
The shadows then disappear and from the shadows appear three witches.
Ash: Oh no... a witch.. no, three witches.
The witches trap the siblings inside a bubble and say.
Witch 1: Hello there little children, hehehehe.
Witch 2: Seems like you got lost, need some help? We'll make sure you never make it back!
Witch 3: Unless.
Ash hesitantly asks "unless... unless what?"
Witch 3: Unless you pay the price and give us a very rare gem that is with you at the moment.
Eliot: A gem? We don't have any gem.
Chelsea: But you can have this stone I found in our backyard, it looks just like a gem.
Witch 1: (Snarling) FOOLISH GIRL! We are after no worthless stone! We want the gem hanging around your sisters neck.
Ash: Uhh.. you mean.. my necklace?
Witch 2: So that's what it's called, now hand it over, and we'll let u leave unharmed.
Ash: No! I can't just give it to you.
Witch 3: We are not requesting, we demand that necklace!
Ash: No! How do I believe that you will keep your promise, and let us go quietly and won't attack us anyways?
Witch 3: Well.. uhh..
Hunny: (defiantly) You heard my sister! She won't give her necklace!
Witch 1: (growling) We can give you any amount that you desire for that gem of yours, name your price!
Ash: Uhhh no thank you... i don't wanna sell it and it still does not guarantee our safety.
Witch 2 grabs ash and says "Well what do you want for this gem then, huh?"
Eliot: HEY! LET HER GO!
Ash thinks about it for a while and then says.
Ash: I will give you this gem that you desire so badly..... for free.
Eliot: What??! Are you insane?
Hunny: Sis don't do it!
Chelsea: Sis we need that necklace! It was a gift from mother.
Witches look pleased and try to snatch the necklace but ash stops them.
Ash: Yes, you can have it for free... but, I have conditions.
Witch 3: What conditions, look we may be witches but we can't make u wealthy in a day. We're witches, not a genie.
Ash: Hear me out first.
Witch 1: Speak up.
Ash: Sigh, you can have it for free.. if you promise to escort us out of this alley, and promise to come to our aid whenever we call for you.
Witch 1: What! Are you insane, we are great witches not your servants!
Ash: Well, then you can't have this necklace!
Witch 1: Hmph...
The witch puts down Ash and calls for a meeting with the other two witches. After a lot of back and forth arguments.. finally they all agree to be a part of Ash's conditions under certain circumstances.
Witch 1: Alright, we agree with your conditions but-
Witch 2: But you must follow some rules before calling us for your aid.
Witch 3: You may say the magic spell "i have a trouble which i wish to set free i call upon witch 3" and one of us will come to your aid.
Witch 2: But you cannot just call for us whenever you feel like it.
Witch 1: We are witches and not your servants, that spell is for emergencies only. Understood?
Ash: Yes, we understand.. we promise we will obey the rules.
Witch 1: As for escorting you all out of this alley, witch3 will handle the task after you hand over that gem to us.
Ash and the witches make a magical contract. So that no one breaks their promise or they will suffer according to the contract. Ash gives the gem to the witches, witch 3 escorts all the siblings out of the alley and returns back to the witches.
Ash: Thank god i had that gem... i mean necklace and we are out of there.
Chelsea: Are you sad? You really liked the necklace.
Ash: Awww don't worry Chelsea. I'm just glad we are all safe. As for the necklace, I'm sure mom can make me a new one.
Hunny: That's right... but hey, where is big brother?
Ash: Huh?? I swear he was right here.
Ash and the siblings notice the brother coming out of the alley with the necklace with a slight smirk.
Eliot: Bet you didn't think I could get it back for you huh?
Ash: Are you insane brother! What did you do??
Eliot: Nothing, i just did a little trick and got it back for you, shouldn't you be thanking me??
Ash: ...
Ash noticed the witches coming towards them with angry faces, Ash somehow handles the grumpy witches and gives them back the necklace and gives a sigh of relief.
Ash: Please don't.. do that next time.
Eliot: I was just.. trying to help.
Ash: I appreciate the thought.. but we could've been killed or made soups out of.
Eliot: Sigh... I'm sorry.
Ash: It's alright, I know you meant well, brother.
Just then, Hunny and Chelsea notice something.
Hunny: Looks like there's a carnival going on here!
Chelsea: The lights around here are so pretty!
Ash and Eliot turn around to look at the view of Carnival in full swing.
Ash: Wow, I didn't know they did these anymore.
Eliot: The road looks empty for now, wanna do a race?
Ash: Sure! What do you both say?
Chelsea and Hunny: That sounds fun!
Eliot: The loser has to buy everyone dinner!
said the brother as he ran first
Ash: Hey! That's cheating!
The siblings now race each other, Ash tries to run past Eliot, But fails. Hunny uses his magic to turn into a monkey and climb on the bars and get ahead of everyone. Everyone suddenly turns into animals and Ash blacked out.
Suddenly, a voice called out to Ash-.
"Ash!"
"Ash!, wake up!"
Ash opened her eyes to see her mother stood over her.
Mother: You will be late for school if you don't wake up now!
Ash got up and looked around. She realised that whatever she witnessed just now was all just a dream, as she came to the realisation that she doesn't even have any siblings and she is an only child.
Ash sighed.
Ash: That.. was an interesting dream... welp, time for school.
