Summary:

She took a breath and pressed herself up on her tiptoes, gently pressing her lips to his cheek, and he froze. “Michelle, I—”
Henry squealed at the sight, immediately running over and hugging both of their legs tightly. “I’m so happy we’re a family again…” 
And Ted snapped his mouth shut, a strained smile on his lips as he gently rested a hand on top of his son’s head. “Me too, bud… me too.” 
He feels like he’s dying.

Ted falls into a dark depression having given up everything to go be a dad to Henry. He hates that being around his son isn't enough.

Michelle notices and does what needs to be done in order to save him.

Yooo idk if this will go over well hahaha, but tbh i've been wanting to do it ever since i wrote my first tedbecca fic back in 2022 because a friend wanted me to and i never got around to it. So i figured... what better way to do it than to make a podfic of the very sad and depressing fix it fic i'm writing. lmao

I also thought it might be fun for you guys to see how my brain imagined it - not to say yours can't be different because that's the beauty of art (ahem... lookin' at you brendan) but you know just in case you are interested!
