A Communique on Echoes and General Updates of the Commune, Drafted by the Commune Impasse, Broadcast by the Attendant Osmn:
After rumination by all in the Commune, and great debate between Dissenters and Accordants, it is the position of the Commune Impasse that the Echoes of the Voice, although great in power and possibility, and naturally alluring to the Accordant-self of all Dread, are to be left for others to fight over.
Evidence (After Action Reports: Excision of Voice, Assault on Monolith) (Recollections of the Voice: Death of Disciple: Rhulk, Rising of Hive: Savathun, Cabal/Disciple: Calus (multiple instances), various offensives) suggests that warriors of the Gardener are more than capable of combating any attempt at claiming new resources or paracausal instances.
Therefore, the Commune Impasse officially sanctions the actions of the Commune Tangled Shore for their allegiance to the Scorn and their Echo, and urges fellow Communes to send no aid to this group. Similarly, the Commune Impasse officially sanctions the Resonant Knife and its attempt to claim the Echo of Navigation. Although the Commune Impasse bears no ill-will towards the Taken, as they are lesser tools of the Voice and their command by we the Dread is natural, the Taking of the Resonant Knife and anomalous events aboard the Dreadnought are of unclear but presumably great threat. Active operations by Gardener-warriors aboard the Dreadnought similarly pose unparalleled risk to the Dread, and so the Commune Impasse urges fellow Communes to send no aid to this group.
On matters internal:
The Commune Impasse bids farewell to Hyrhka, Subjugator of the Godslayer. Although her path into the future is unclear, we the Commune pay respects to her many achievements and firm commitment to the Voice.
The Grim hive announce the successful propagation of twenty-four new sculpts, by use of standard modelling stock and random combination of hive Recollections. They will receive Naming in fourteen days, and the Commune Impasse invites all fellow Dread to attend the ceremony. (By agreement of the Communes Pale Heart, Communes Landing and Blooming are given first consideration.)
The Tormentor Miklial has been Titled as Tormentor of the Lucent, for a commendable campaign against Lightbearer subjects of Hive: Savathun. In celebration, he has received two quarters of Traveller-marrow, and thus displays growth consistent with the Reverents (as a Dissenter, Miklial has not been granted entrance to the Reverent subunit).
Tension between Dissenters and Accordants grows, but adherents to each remain largely amicable. Three Husk squabbles have occurred since the previous Communique, each broken up by Vrhalja, Subjugator of Ruin. Accordant Husks instigated each instance, and so have been denied propagation rights for the remainder of the sculpting cycle.
The Subjugators Aliina and Qorin, five Weavers, eight Husks, and sixteen Grim depart in hopes of founding a Dissenter Commune in the Reef. They pledge opposition to the Commune Tangled Shore. The Commune Impasse wishes the best for the Aliina/Qorin expedition, and asks the Communes Sol System to welcome their new kin.
The Tormentor Proviia, Reverent of the Witness and his contingent of Dread forces have been slain by Gardener-warrior forces active in the Impasse. The Commune Impasse commends Proviia’s many victories, and as per Accordant faith, offers his soul to the Voice, that his memory may be ever preserved in the Final Shape.
