Work Text:
It was a peaceful morning in the Hamilton Reed household, Tom snored away as Jake laid sleeping on his chest. Jake had his arms wrapped around Tom as Tom held him to his chest. Until, Jake woke up and morning called.
“Tom… Tom?” Jake tried to wriggle free from Tom's hold, he really needed to pee.
“Mmm….hmm,” Tom mumbled and yawned.
“Tom!- I need to go!” Jake stood up but Tom's arms stayed around his waist following his movements.
“Mmm, please Jake, come back to bed,” he nuzzled his head into Jake's back.
“Tom, I'll be right back, promise.” Jake patted him.
"Please don't leave me… pleeease?"
"Babe... I'm just going to the bathroom. I need to pee."
"Fine, but I'm coming with. Never letting you go, you're stuck with me forever,” Tom rose from the bed and latched onto Jake from behind.
“Are you really going to spoon me all the way to the bathroom everytime I have to pee in the morning?” Jake started to shuffle, dragging his heavy boyfriend along with him.
“Yes, I'd miss you too much otherwise.” Tom whined and leaned his chin onto the crown of Jake's head. Tom's half asleep weight was not easy to carry. But Jake persevered, dragging Tom all the way to their shared bathroom.
“Maybe I should start keeping a bucket by the bed,” Jake sighed, but he wasn't annoyed. The fact that Tom never wanted to leave his side made Jake feel more loved than he ever thought was possible. He didn't want to ever leave Tom's side either, as unrealistic as that was, he knew he'd have to get a job soon. Well, at least he could enjoy this while it lasted. If his boyfriend dragging him back to bed was the reason he was unemployed then he'd gladly stay unemployed… for now.
