Like any normal friend group, Yale and his friends enjoy bonding together. They really enjoy eating out, watching movies, go hunting random cafés, and above all else, go on party nights. Party nights that involve a lot of catching up with each other's lives, gossiping about people they knew, drinks, dancing together, and fun games like the one they are having right now—the ever-classic truth or dare.
Yale was trying his best not to laugh at Gian's reaction to what Bryce had just dared the former to do. "I swear, Bryce... sasabunutan talaga kita mamaya," Gian threatened their friend, who had given him a task to randomly steal a drink from the hands of the guy who he had been eyeing ever since they got into the bar. "Sus, gusto mo rin naman. Kunwari ka pa." Bryce said, grinning from ear to ear.
Clearly, that task would have been easy, but there was something complicated to it. After stealing said drink, Gian has to drink it up, whatever it is on the glass then kiss the guy. Though there weren't any more specifications, Gian surely feels conflicted— worried that the guy must be taken. However, the show must go on.
In a few moments, their friend group already saw Gian standing next to the table where the guy was. Bryce already have his phone camera on, directed straight to where Gian was, waiting for the scene to unfold.
Gian hadn't wasted any more time and did the task at hand. He stole the hard drink the guy was having and drank it in one go. He was clearly not enjoying the drink but he just didn't care anymore. The guy and the friends he had with him looked shocked at what Gian just did, much more so when he leaned in to give said guy a quick peck on the lips. He then, apologized saying it was a dare and immediately left as if it was a crime scene he had to get away.
"Wag na kayong magsalita, ituloy ba natin 'to. Last ikot bago tayo umalis. Makabawi man lang ako," Gian said, spinning the bottle which ended up pointing at Yale.
"Wala kang choice, dapat dare. Nakakailang truth ka na kanina," Jaden told Yale. Making the latter sigh in defeat. "Fine, dare."
"I got a perfect dare for you," Gian grinned. "But before that, mag bill out na tayo dahil baka puntahan ako nung lalaking 'yon in a few at awayin."
Despite feeling nervous, Yale just laughed at what Gian said and immediately called for the bill. While waiting for the bill, Gian spoke up again, looking at Yale.
"Go to the casino tomorrow and play any game. And as soon as you win five times, you will randomly ask someone on the same game to go on a date with you. Doesn't matter if you got rejected, at least you got more money," he was saying it as if it was too simple.
Shocked with the dare he was given, Yale responded, "Gaga ka? Alam mong hanggang poker games lang ako sa plato at discord? Pati set poker? Mukha bang alam ko kalakaran sa casino?! Saka pwede bang three times lang?"
"Ay maganda yung dare. Para maiba naman ng environment. Sasama naman kami sa'yo," Joshen assured they will be with him there.
"Sige, three wins." Gian agreed.
Yale sighed in defeat. He thinks the dare is ridiculous but at the same time, he wants to try it, too. However, he is scared he doesn't do well and just waste money.
'Ah ewan! Bahala na bukas!' he thought before they left the bar.
