Alastor never really understood the concept of Valentine’s Day. He still doesn’t really, but he's trying. He pulls out all the stops when it comes to his partner. He gets you a cute card, a bouquet of flowers, a box of chocolate, and a stuffed animal (a deer, of course), and plans a nice dinner for you.
He leaves your gifts on your dresser the night before so that they’re there when you wake up, with a note telling you to dress nicely for tonight, and saying to be ready at 7:00 sharp. Once you’re ready at 6:30, Alastor is waiting in the lobby for you. When he sees you, he is at a loss for words.
“My dear, you look stunning, I believe you’re going to outshine everyone else who happens to be out tonight.” You chuckle at his joke and the two of you left to enjoy a night on the town.
