Work Text:
“Are you doing well?” As Alex questioned Elias, who was lying in his bed all curled up, he gently stroked his blond hair, feeling the warm sensation on his fingers. It made him smile. He was informed that Elias was sick due to them playing in the rain yesterday. It was fun, to be honest. The moment felt like a permanent memory for both of them, not wanting it to end. But as always, the day ended abruptly.
When Alex heard about it, he grinned; he didn't expect Elias to be that weak. The Elias he knew wouldn't get sick by just droplets of rain touching skin. He’s stronger than that. Nonetheless, he went to Elias' room.
He slowly opened his eyes, blue ocean pupils staring back at Alex. In front of him was a figure, but he couldn't recognize it as his vision was so blurry. Probably the effects of having a fever. But he forced himself to brush his eyes to see who it was. Maybe it could be an intruder, but that’s not possible.
“Who… are…” He tried to speak, but words wouldn't come out of his mouth. Why is he so fucking weak? This isn't the usual symptom of having a fever, as before, he would ignore it like he wasn't having a fever, yet now, it felt like bricks were placed on his back.
“Just rest, Elias.” The figure spoke, and after what seemed like an hour, Elias' eyes widened and showed a forced grin after realizing who it was.
Realizing that it was Alex, he felt a surge of energy inside of him.
“What are you doing here, Alex?” He sighed in relief to find that it was just Alex; if it weren't Alex, he would have already punched the intruder. As if he would, though. He sat up, feeling the cloth brush against his skin. His eyes were heavy; the sleepiness was slowly creeping up to him, yet he composed himself so as to not make Alex worry more.
“Your mom told me you were sick, so I came here to see you,” Alex muttered. He steadily placed himself beside Elias and turned to face his back. He moved himself closer to Elias, their clothing touching each other. He then cuddled Elias, feeling his heavy breathing and the soft aroma surrounding him. Elias smelled like roses.
Elias, who was still awake, felt Alex's hands embracing him. He turned around gently, both of their gazes meeting each other. Elias did the same thing as Alex by cuddling him. The scenario was so romantic and cheesy too, but if it's him, then Elias doesn't care.
“Let's sleep together.”
“Alright, as you said so.”
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”
