jimin has had the greatest crush on his best friend JK ever since High School, he's been so in love with him.
They met each other at 10 when Jks family newly moved to jms neighborhood, they got along so quickly , everything clicked so fast. They shared the same humor, dry jokes and mostly liked the same things.
There friendship grew stronger each year, but when they turned 15, jm noticed that something had changed, he found him self looking at jk longer than required, he began noticing features he never paid attention to, like the extra muscles, firm pectorals etc. It didn't help that he found himself laughing at whatever jk said even when they weren't funny. sometimes, he would pack extra snacks for lunch and blush at the slightest compliment from jk.
At 16 Jimin was so sure he had deep feelings for jk, so he was determined to confess to him during the Halloween party, he thought the feelings were mutual since jk often complimented his looks and was often protective of him.
After spending his whole weekend writing and rewriting, trying to compose the perfect love confesses ion letter, he's finally pleased with what he wrote, an innocent cute letter pouring out his feelings, he's sure jk would find it cute.
It's finally the Halloween party, jimin is standing at the school field with a cookie and a letter ready to give them to his crush, so he early texts jk and asks him to meet. He's smiling from ear to ear, grinning when his smiles fades because he sights jk hand in hand with a random girl walking towards him.
"Finally found you" jk said as soon as he made it to where jimin was, but the only response he got from Jimin was an absent "oh yeah"
"You wouldn't believe it, I got a girlfriend" jk obliviously announced to jm who's dumbfounded.
"oh yeah " jm replied again, this made jk furious as his mood immediately changed.
"what's with the cold shoulder? shouldn't you be happy for me?? why do I get the vibe that you don't care? jk asked
"I'm Tracy" the girl that jk was holding quickly intervened to ease the brewing tension.
"Jimin" He replied curtly ignoring the hand she stretched towards him.
There's a new growing tension, and with jk and his new girl staring at him, looking as if they're waiting for more response from him, jm quickly apologized, excused himself saying he was sorry he sounded off and needed to go meet his partner, as he showed the cookies in his hands and letter.
Jk and Tracy looks at each other puzzled but kept whatever opinion they had to themselves.
six months after the Halloween party, jk and jimin are on the phone, they've been talking for a while, mainly with jk giving him an earful, telling him Tracy is such an asshole and how she cheated on him, he kept blabbing, Tracy this, Tracy that, that's all Jimin has been hearing for the past six months since jk got a girlfriend, and honestly, he is tired. If only jk knew how many times he's rolled his eye, he would shut up and stop taking.

Four years later they're now in college, like they said, old habits never die. Jk is still the same, always talking one girl or the other. Todays unlike girl is "Na ya" Jks new obsession.
"Na ya" is one of the most brilliant students at SNU, she's so pretty, she has guys lined up, waiting to kiss the floor she worked on, in his opinion, she's way out of jks league, but he'll let his friend to enjoy his delusions.
Even though Jimins crush on JK is so huge and as much as he likes hearing him talk, he honestly can't take anymore talk about na ya tonight, so he starts looking around, looking for anything to distract him from whatever jk was saying.
As if luck was on his side and right on time, he sights Somi, the prettiest girl at the club dancing alone, she really is magnificent and her dance captivating.
Maybe it's the alcohol in his system, maybe it's just his stupid ego, anyways jimin finds himself walking to Somi.

"Hey" jm said and smiles at Somi who seems lost in the music.
"Hey" she replies, smiles at him and keeps dancing.
"so uhhmm" jm stammered a little whiles scratching his hair, he was nervous. I've been watching you dance he said.
"Really? Somi teased, with her brows raised and everything, she never stops dancing.
"yea really, there's a pause before jm continues, I know I'm about to sound like an asshole either because I'm drunk or crazy tonight, but would you like to fuck? he blurts out.
He really just asked for it, he'll probably get slapped or insulted, but that would be better than listening to one more word from jk.
Jimin is surprised when he opens his eyes to see Somi still staring at him, she's checking him out, smiling as if he said something amusing, he probably did. He was even more shocked when he felt somi's lips on his and a little "meet me at the front door" from her before she walks away.
Jimin couldn't comprehend what just happened, as of on spell, he goes back to the table he was at, grabs his keys & card and leaves. He could hear jk and "Yu ri" his new best friend he met at college calling him back, but he's too high to care.

Jimin woke up to the sun blinding his eyes, he feels a slight headache & migraine, so massages his forehead trying to lessen the pain, he then opens his eyes to a glass of water in front of him, so he quickly grabs it and drinks, he's Soo thirsty, he didn't even realize.
when Jimin finally feels a little better, he looks up to see somi me looking at him, with her arms crossed on her rope.
Dammnn..... last night, he really did fuck for real, and with a girl? he's always thought he was gay because of his crazy feelings for jk, guess he's attracted to women too.
"Hey!!!!" Somi calls him out of his thoughts.
"I'm so sorry" Jimin responded, he's looking anywhere but at Somi, trying his best to avoid her gaze.
"why do you act like it's your first time? Somi asked as she sat close to him on the bed which made Jimin frown.
"It was my first time he responded firmly"
Somi chuckled at that, "calm down tiger, I'm just teasing"
Somi immediately got close to Jimin, they're now face to face, with their lips almost touching lips almost touching.
"What if we do this many more times? Somi suggested, as she used her hand to start stroking him.
All jimin could do was nod, there's just something about Somi that draws you.

Jimin is finally back home, just to be welcomed by his angry roommate JK who is sitting on the couch staring at him with side eye. Jk didn't greet or welcome him.
"Really?? jm asked to break the ice.Hes irritated by how jk is acting, it's 11 at night and they didn't see each other the whole day, yet he's not welcomed.
"You leave last without saying anything to any of us, now you waltz in like a prince by 11:00 p.m. and you expect me to hug and give you a congratulatory gift? you didn't even have the decency to call, text or whatever and now you have the audacity to really me? yea really " jk said angrily.
"OMG dude relax, what are you so upset about "
"I'm upset about you going for your booty call without heads up"
"Man I'm too tired for all this" was all jm could say as he made his way to the bathroom, "gotta shower "
"Sleep outside for a night and now you're a completely different person huh? So are you dating her or something, are you guys just fuck buddies now? Is she your girlfriend??
Jm smiled to the sulking jk and kept showering while
happily whistling.
"Asshole" jk shouted loud enough for jm to hear, this made jm laugh more.

Years have gone by so fast, they're now 23, In their favorite bar, sipping their favorite tequila.
Jk and jimin are both staring at each other's eyes, listening to the slow sensual music playing in the background.
The scenery feels so romantic, with both being single for a long time, it made jimin feel tingles in his belly.
They're not celibate per say as jk likes to sleep around, jm sometimes too, though he likes his food mixed, the hot girls and boys.
Everything happening right now is making jm high on emotions that he didn't realize his hands were already out, he's asking jk for a dance.
"C'mon, just one dance handsome"
Jk is shaking his head saying no, he's laughing and if jimin is not mistaken, jk feels shy.
"Okay" jk says after much persuasion.
They're on the dance floor, Jks hands on jimins waist, jms on Jks shoulder, they're staring into each other eyes again, they look like lovers. They soon start slow dancing, taking one step at a time, the music serenading them, it's days like this that gives jimin false hope, makes him feel like they could be so much more. Jk confuses him sometimes because he sometimes acts like a lover with him, the way he is so protective of him, listens to his every whims and obliges. Times when jk treats him like he's the only doll in the room, the way he cuddles him, sometimes smacks and grabs his ass, he knows Jks hands lingers longer than normal.
Jks hands are going to jimins ass, he could feel it, he's on cloud nine, his heart is beating so fast, what if he confesses tonight, will jk be okay with it? the scent of jks perfume isn't letting him breath, he smells like a fine tasty wine that jm couldn't place yet.
"Jk" Jimin calls out as he feels jk grab his ass, he'll probably make a mess, he's so turned on.
"hmm....." jk answers, he's nosing jms neck and jimin could almost feel jm squirm, he's studying him, watching the way jms eyes immediately close.
"Jk I ....." jm couldn't finish his statement bc he saw "Yu ri" at the door, did jk invite her??
"Did you invite yu ri? jm asked, his voice sounds irritated.
"Is she here already? jk responds, he immediately let's go of jm and turns towards the door to Yu ri who is walking up to them.
Jimin feels the loss, he's bitter, even though you ri was his friend too, he thought tonight was all about jk and him, he thought they finally made progress, but it's just his wishful thinking as always. Jk always seems close, yet so far from him.
"Hello boys" Yu ri said as soon as she made it to where they stood, she pecked jms cheeks, then Jks, but something was strange, her hands stayed longer on Jks waist, no, they never left his waist.
"Let's go have a sit" jk said as he led them while still holding Yu ri by her waist.
They're all seated, the atmosphere a little dry, jimins face couldn't even hide the anger he felt.
"Jiminie Yu ri and I invited you tonight because we have something to tell you"jk shamelessly said.
So he's the guest? he was the one being invited and not the other way round, looking at them, he could guess what they wanted to say.
When did this even happen? he thought they where all single? was he being sidelined again? he can't even be mad, jk was never his.
Jimin thinks he's prepared enough to accept the news, he knows what they're about to say, yet it sounded like a deep wound the moment it left Jks mouth, he felt betrayed.
"So yu ri and I have been dating for a month now, we wanted to be sure it works out before telling anyone, we didn't want it to ruin our friendship" jk said.
Jm couldn't believe he's now referred to as anybody, though he knew that was what jk was about saying, yet he couldn't control it, he didn't even know when tears fell, for the first time, Park jimin cried for a man.
Jimin didn't cry at 16 when jk got his first girlfriend, at 18 when jk lost his virginity to a random girl, at 20 when jk decided to whore him self and sleep with everyone in school but him, but this was different, this was too much, he couldn't handle this, it feels like he's lost jk forever, not just to anyone, but to "Yu ri" his best friend and favorite human, the universe must be laughing at him.
"I'm sorry I can't do this, congratulations to you both" jm says as he hurriedly leaves, leaving jk and Yu ri confused.

26 years old jm is back home from jk & Yu ris tiring engagement party. The past years has been torture for him, he stayed by the corner watched his best friends be so in love with each other, even helped them move in together, now they're taking a bigger step in their relationship, marriage.
Jimin couldn't help sipping his drink, as he made himself comfortable on the couch, he's remembering Jks laughter and how he was excitedly telling people jimin was going to be his best man and how Yu ri said no that jimin would be his, they kept dragging that he belonged to each of them, the truth? he hated it, he belonged to himself, but he couldn't create a scene, it was his best friends wedding, he couldn't ruin it and make it about himself.
Jimin is Jared from his thoughts because his phone wouldn't stop vibrating, he looks at the caller id and it's jk calling, he's probably calling to check up on him, to know if he got home alright since he was a little tipsy. He ignored the call. his phone rings again, this time it's Yu ri, she probably wants to check up on him too. Sincerely Yu ri is such a sweet heart and jm loves her so much, he would have probably been happy for her and wished her well if she wasn't about to marry his unrequited love of 10 years. His phone wouldn't stop buzzing and he's had enough of this annoying couple, so he ignores the call, stands to turns the phone to face the table, grabs his towel and goes in for a shower.
When jm is done bathing, he grabs his phone and goes back to the couch and is surprised to see 50 missed calls from jk and Yu ri. "Are they crazy he thought? So out of anger he placed the phone back on the table and goes to sleep.

Jimin is woken by the sun that's shining on him, his phone continuous to buzz, the ringing distracts him, he looks at the caller ID and it's jk again, he's so annoyed, why can't they have fun and leave him alone? out of anger, he leaves his phone at home and leaves for work.
10:30 at night, jm is back home late, his boss wouldn't let him breath, he kept assigning him with task that took the whole day, he's so exhausted and the rain right now isn't helping. Walking closer to his door, he sees a figure that's drenched from the rain, it looks so much like jk.
"Jk? jm calls as he got closer.
"Where have you been jk fired, I've been calling you since last night?
"Not like that's any of your business, I had loads of work today, it's like the universe wasn't on my side and seeing you now confirms it" Jimin says as he rolls his eyes. "Why are you even in such a haste to see me? and to answer your question,I forgot my phone at home.
"when did you change the lock to your house? jk asked"
Jimin eyed him and walked past him to unlock the door, he almost sighed, jk knows the perfect ways to piss him off.
"I don't think it's any of your business anymore, since you're a potentially married man, why would you need my passcode?" Jimin asked.
Jk ignored him and walked into his house, he made himself comfortable on a chair. jm immediately goes in and comes out with a towel, he starts drying Jks hair when he remembers Jks taken, he immediately withdraws his hands and leaves the towel on Jks head.
"Will you tell me now what's going on? why have you been blasting my phone all day and now you show up like a caveman"
"Yu ri" jk whispered
honestly jm is tired of playing cupid and always helping them reconcile, he'll probably run away on their wedding, he's not built for all this stress.
"So what happened with Yu ri now, did you guys fight? you both were happy just last night, you two were all over each other "
"She's dead" jk blurts.

Jimin still couldn't comprehend what jk just said
"Are you crazy? why would you joke about something like that" jm shouted
"I don't know what to do " jk says with tears rolling his ears. "I just lost the love of my "
Nothing made sense, how could yu ri be dead, jm just saw her last night. Yu ri and jk kept teasing him last night on how he's been single for the longest of time, Yu ri even joked about divorcing jk and marrying jm if he doesn't find a partner.
"Jk what do you mean,I don't understand, where's Yu ri?????" Jm asked.
"Yu..... last night, she said she wanted to have fun with the girls after you all left, I nagged her a little but later agree and she promised that she would come back early, so I pecked and sent her to the car they left with, just for me to get a call almost immediately from the hospital, jm she died on my hands this morning" Jk sobbed....."Yu ri is gone, what do I do jk cried harder..."
"No, no" jm shouted as he ran to his phone, he scrolled and saw two messages from Yu ri.

"hey jiminie, I kept calling but you never picked, you've probably slept after the much alcohol you took. I'm with my girls right now and something is seriously wrong with our vehicle, I'm really scared and you're the only one I could think to call lol, you know how to calm me, so please call me when you get my text, love

Jms hands quickly made it to the second text
"jiminie, you didn't call back or text back, I hope you're doing okay, I'm at the hospital right now and honestly, I don't think I can make it, the pain is too much, I wish you where here with me my best friend, I'm scared.
If I don't make it, just know that you're my number lol, don't tell kookie tho.
You're my best friend and I love you so much, I hope one day you find the one that makes you happy and is worth it, do take care of yourself and kookie, I hope he moves on, take care of each other, I love you, always.

Jimin didn't even know when he made it to the floor, he's sobbing so hard, Yu ri was his best friend, a sister he never had and someone so dear to him, he cherished her. There might have been times when he was jealous of her, but he's always wished her well, he would always tell her about his unrequited love, but never dared to say who, she was oblivious and a cutie, so she never caught on, but she's a listener, he never knew something like this would happen, he's heartbroken, he then turns to jk who's a whole mess, he's too sad to even comfort him, he might have lost his best friend and sister, but jk didn't just lose that, he also lost a partner.
They're both crying, no one is consoling anyone, it's like a weeping house.

Two years have passed since the passing of Yu ri,
Jk and jm are now roommates. Jk had moved in with Jimin immediately after Yu ris passing, he said he couldn't stand the now empty shared apartment with Yu ri because it reminded him of her, everything was her, it was torture.
They got closer than ever over the years, as if they're back to being teenage boys, they would cuddle to watch movie, sleep on each other laps, give compliments that sometimes gives jm butterfly, they've been several attempts of jk trying to grab his ass or be too cuddly but jimin never agrees, it doesn't feel right.
They're both talking one random day when Jimin suddenly throws in the conversation Jks been dreading.
"You know it's okay to date again" jm blurts
There's no response from jk, he pretends to be engrossed in the movie, ignoring jiminies ridiculous question. Jimin continues anyways.
"Have you ever thought about finding a new place of your own Jimin asks??
"Jimin are you throwing me out? I've been contributing to rent and doing chores too"
"Jk no!!! I would never do that, I just feel you staying with me and all is preventing you from getting a new partner and moving on, it's as if we're stuck at one particular chapter, it is not good for either of us "
"We used to be roommates, that never stopped any of us from dating?? did it jimin?" jk asked, he's angry, it's evident in his tone.
"You know it's different this time around" jimin explains
"How so? enlighten me, or do you have a new partner?" jk asked sarcastically
"No" jms answer was sharp
"Fine! then tell me when you get one, I'll give you guys lots of privacy"
"You're not getting it!! you're being ridiculous " jimin shouts and walks away angrily, he made sure to bang the door behind him.
After a while the door to jimins room slowly opens to jk who tiptoed to him on the bed.
"Get out " jm said coldly
Jks never been the one to listen, so he goes in for a back hug
"I'm sorry" jk whispered.
They're both lying on the bed with jimin refusing to look at him and jk refusing to let go even when jimin tries to wiggle his way out of his embrace. The more jimin attempts to shove him, the more jk hugs.
"I can't lose you too" jk breathes on jimins neck
"You're not losing me" Jimin says before finally turning to face jk. He let's his hands make it's way to Jks face and grabs his cheeks.
"Jk I think we both need space, we need to properly move on and meet other people, we can't keep.... Jimins speech is cut short when his eyes lands on Jks lips, God, they're so kissable....
Jimin. attempts moving away after he realized what just happened, but jk grabs him by the waist and moves him closer.
jimin tries averting his gaze, but jk stops him
"Don't look away from me doll... Jk begs
"Jungkook..." Jimins voice comes out husky
"Can't it just be the two of us? Jk begs, his voice is pleading
"Jk..." Jimin says, almost like a whisper
"I know you feel it too, don't hold back jiminie, you want it too....."
Jks hands are immediately on his neck, he's rubbing them lightly, jimin is shaking his head, but he's not moving away, he soon feels Jks lips on his neck, they're pecking him, he feels him all over his body, he could feel his lips on his collar bone, his nose, his jaw, it's like poison.
"Jk .... " Jimin moans
"Don't say no" Jk pleads, let me kiss you "
Jimin finally feels it, Jks lips on his.
This is all he's ever wanted, to be desired by Jungkook, for his feelings to be reciprocated, he's spent 12 years longing, drooling in an unrequited love, 16 year old him would have squealed so hard, 20 years old him would have cheesed, 23 years old him would have been on cloud nine, 26 year old him would have welcomed it no matter how bad he hated the idea of cheating before the tragic event that took place, but 28 year old him can't do this, no matter how those lips are making him feel right now, his body is rejecting it, it feels so wrong, it's unfair to Yu ri, he can't hurt her the second time, so he pushes jk away, he pushes the love of his life away and runs....
