Work Text:

When you woke up, you were greeted by the smell of food. You got out of bed and followed the scent into the kitchen, where Sun was busy.

“Happy Valentine's Day my love!” Sun said as you entered the kitchen.

“Happy Valentine’s Day,” you say as you take in the scene. The kitchen was filled with decorations. There were pink and red hearts everywhere and the table had roses in a vase on it. Aside from the roses, there was a lot of food on the table. From pancakes to bacon there wasn’t any breakfast food missing. “Sun, you didn’t have to do all this!” you exclaim as you gaze upon your meal.

“It was nothing! I hope you like it!” Sun replied happily. As you happily chowed down on your breakfast Moon entered the kitchen.

“Happy Valentine’s Day starlight~” Moon greeted as he sat next to you. You swallow before responding:

“Happy Valentine’s Day Moon!” Once you’re finished stuffing yourself you start getting ready and, you make sure to look extra nice. Once you’re ready you grab your things and head out to the car where Sun and Moon are waiting for you.

“Are we ready?” you ask as you get in the car.

“Aye aye, captain!” Sun replies, fastening his seatbelt.

“As I’ll ever be,” Moon replies. You start the car and go where your surprise for Sun and Moon is.

“Here we are!” you announce as you park. You had taken them to the new candy store that had opened a few weeks ago.

“IT’S THE CANDY STORE!!!!!” Sun squealed with excitement. Moon’s jaw dropped.

“You each have one hundred dollars to spend,” you tell your stunned and excited partners.

“ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?” Sun exclaimed.

“One hundred dollars,” you repeat.

“Oh my gosh,” Moon muttered in awe. The three of you went into the store.

“Have fun!” you say as the boys immediately start scanning the shelves. Sun quickly looked around, grabbing whatever caught his eye. Moon was slower and more methodical, taking care and consideration to pick the best candy. You watch them, amused, and buy a few things for yourself. There was a big sale happening for Valentine’s Day and you were taking advantage of it.

“Look!” Sun exclaimed as he pointed at a shelf. You and Moon came over to see what Sun was so excited about. Sun was pointing at a ginormous candy bar priced at one hundred dollars. Moon’s eyes widened. Your jaw dropped.

“Can we get it?” Moon asked tentatively.

“If one of you gets it, that'll be your one hundred dollars,” you say. Sun and Moon pouted.

“But it looks so good!” Sun complained.

“I didn’t say you couldn't buy it,” you defend.

“But if we buy it we can’t buy anything else,” Moon complained.

“How are we even going to eat something that big?” you questioned.

“We’ll manage,” Sun said.

“No we won’t,” you retort.

“You don’t know that!” Moon said.

“I can make an educated guess!” you exclaim. Sun and Moon pouted even harder and whipped out their puppy eyes.

“Please let us get it~,” Sun and Moon say in unison. You sigh.

“Each of you spends fifty dollars on it and fifty on anything else you want,” you relent.

“Yippie!!!” Sun cheers.

“Yes!” Moon exclaimed. Sun and Moon decided on what they would spend their remaining fifty dollars on, and the three of you checked out and returned to your car.

“Did you have fun?” you ask.

“Yeah!!” Sun and Moon cheered. The three of you drove home, ate candy, and played games together until sunset.

“It’s time for my gift to you,” Moon said.

“Oh?” you ask.

“Come along,” Moon said as he led you to the car. Moon drove to a field and laid out a picnic blanket and basket.

“This is nice!” you compliment as you sit on the blanket.

“A picnic under the stars~,” Sun said wistfully.

“It gets better,” Moon said as he brought out a telescope, “There’s going to be a meteor shower tonight,” Moon explained. Moon rigged a laptop to the telescope so that you three could see the sky better.

“Really!?” you ask, surprised and intrigued.

“It'll be coming soon,” Moon assured. The three of you had a delicious dinner made by Moon and kept an eye on the sky.

“Look!” you exclaim as you see the meteors falling. Sun and Moon look up in awe. You turn to the laptop screen and see an even more dazzling display. The three of you watch intently as the sky lights up, filled with the beauty of space. Eventually, the meteors stop falling and the sky clears up.

“That was incredible!” Sun exclaimed.

“I’ve never seen anything like it!” you proclaim.

“I’m glad you liked it,” Moon says as he starts putting his things away. Once Moon finishes packing up, he drives the three of you home. You get ready for bed before laying in bed with Sun and Moon on either side of you and happily fall asleep.

I wish I was actually Y/N.
