Work Text:
Michelle Mackey let out a small sigh as she leaned back into the chair. She was getting tired of looking at the camera evidence. I should have punched her. That would have left obvious evidence. Before the woman could think about the what-ifs, Blue poked her head into Michelle’s office, holding a cup holder that held four cups of coffee. “I assumed we both needed the caffeine,” Blue shyly explained.
“One day, I will take you out on a real date,” the older woman promised as she shook the cup holder from Blue’s waiting hands.
She knew Bue’s cheeks were red and Michelle herself was flustered by the words that left her lips without any warning.
But—
She couldn’t lie.
She knew she had been telling the truth.
She was going to give Blue a real date when they weren’t too busy with cases.
“Would you like that, Birdy?” Michelle questioned Blue, whose cheeks only darkened at the words. “I’m being fucking serious, sweetheart. Whatever your heart desires, I will make it happen,” Michelle knew she was flirting with the younger girl and her reactions were just so cute. She really deserves a nice date. The older woman thought, smiling.
