The sound of a heart monitor can be heard, echoing through out the plain white room.
Every 3 seconds and a beep echos to indicate that the object that it is connected to is alive , the air is stuffy and the sound is faint but talking can be heard out side of the white prison they call a hospital room.
This wasn't supposed to be happening...
Why was this happening?
They didn't tell me anything...
They took it away.
They took my baby.
But why?
Firey's back straightens as he sits up in the hospital bed his head is loopy and he feels that something is missing.. like an incomplete puzzle piece forgot under the table out of sight out of mind.
But still there and waiting to be remembered and rescued. Fireys breath hitches as he remembers , and started to panic , he looks around but he cannot find his other half that they stole from him.
He try's to get out of the bed but as soon as his foot touches the ground his whole body Goes in shock and he falls to the ground in curls up in to a ball in pain, a few tubes that where connected to him break off and he wails
And wails
And wails
And wails
And wails
Until he cannot make anymore sounds at all and the only thing that comes out is are almost silent moans. The last thing he hears are the sound of doctors rushing in and coming to his aid as painful tears escape from his eyes.

Dad?
Dad!
"Huh?" Firey breaks out his trance , painful tears escape from his eyes,it's verbatim.
As he recalls that painful day that he will never forget.
Never
He squeezes his sons hand
"No no it's fine I'm crying because... well because it was the day I met you."
Firey chokes out while giving Firey jr a embrace
"Dad! I was an egg not even technically alive yet!"
Firey jr snorted as he held on to his dad,
"Haha you need to stop hanging out with golf ball so much you're starting to sound like a bossy bot!" He says while patting his son's head .
".....what was wrong with me?"
Firey was taken aback he wasn't the most comfortable talking about that day as it was actually one of the most traumatic events of his life, he was lucky no one asked about it but when his son came to him asking to that faithful day he just couldn't shoo him away, he had to be the most crystal clear that he could be with out scaring his child.
He had the right to know.
But at the same time the older flame wished he didn't have to go back to that ... that time in his life.
"Well uh i think it had to do with a genetic mutation thing I dont fully know, your egg had a deficiency and was mutated but they helped you , and now your here with me ,and were together again..."
The two sat in silence ,fireys reason is for sorrow
And jrs reason is for thought.
"So um speaking of genetics i-uh was wondering if you know-" Firey puts his hand on jrs shoulder and look at him with a face of knowing while he shakes his head.
Jr sighs while looking down. "How about i order some pizza? And after we can watch a movie?" Firey says while trying to lighten the mood, but jr quickly refuses "I'm not hungry I'll just go to bed... good night dad love you.." jrs says while walking to his room with an saddening look on his face.
Firey bites his lip has he watches his son walk to his room in sorrow and finally sighs as he looks out the window, he never wanted his son to feel this way ,he wanted him to be happy and fulfilled in life ... maybe it was truly his fault ,he had never really thought of looking for jrs other parent he thought they would be ok with just them selfs
And they where for a while ,no one asked and no one thought , well until jr got older and when he got older he asked questions Firey either wasn't comfortable answering or didn't know the answer to.
Especially when he didn't know where to start, all he knows is that he went to leafy party 7 years ago and got drunk and then pregnant .
I guess he could snoop around and try to find out who was at the party for a start, yeah that sounded like a good idea! But what will he do if he finds the other parent? He can't just hand his son over to a stranger .
His son
His pride and joy
The only one there for him
What would he do?
Without his other half.
