Shouto doesn’t like his father. He hates him, in fact.
Shouto thinks to himself, thinks about how much he hates his dad and all Todoroki Enji had done to his family.
Shouto is now talking to Izuku and Ochako on their way back to the UA dorms when all of a sudden, he hears his phone ring. He takes his phone out of his right back pocket and grimaces when he sees who happens to be calling him.
‘the mother fucking asshole who ruined my fucking life’ is calling.
Shouto sighs then answers the phone.
“Shouto! How are yo—“
“DAD HOW MANY FUCKING TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU I HATE YOUR FUCKING GUTS. LIKE HELL I’D EVER TELL YOU HOW I AM WHEN YOU NEVER EVEN BOTHERED TO CARE FOR ME AND OUR FAMILY WHEN I WAS YOUNGER. YOU FUCKING BASTARD THIS IS WHY NOBODY IN OUR— SORRY, MY FAMILY LOVES YOU. FUYUMI ONLY PUTS UP WITH YOUR SHIT BECAUSE SHE WANTS MOM TO BE HAPPY. AND WE BOTH KNOW NATSU HATES YOUR GODDAMN GUTS. MOM IS OBVIOUSLY TRYING TO LOOK PAST ALL THE SHIT YOU PUT US THROUGH BUT IT’S CLEARLY HURTING HER. AND TOYA IS DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU. BECAUSE YOU WERE SO FUCKING FOCUSED ON ME AND MY FUCKING QUIRK. I STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHY THE FUCK YOU THINK WE ALL FORGIVE YOU. BECAUSE NEWS FLASH, GUESS WHAT, WE DON’T. NOW LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE YOU DAMNED MUT.”
Shouto hangs up the phone.
Shouto thinks to himself once more. I hope that bastard heard all of that.
Shouto looks back at Izuku and Ochako who look like they’ve just seen a ghost eat a snake that grew two legs and was hitting the gritty. He stares at them blankly until Izuku opens his mouth to speak, clearly still in a daze.
“U-um.. Todoroki.. What the fuck was that..?” Izuku asks, Shouto notices how his eyes look like there’s nothing behind them. He also notes that his friend’s entire body is frozen like it was when he couldn’t save Katsuki at the training camp.
“I was speaking to my father, Midoriya. I don’t really like him very much if you couldn’t tell.” Shouto replied, his voice never cracking.
“Trust me, Shouto, we know you don’t like him—“ Ochako says weakly.
Shouto gives the two of them a kind gesture before he continues to walk along, leaving the two skeletons behind him.
