There were times like these when neither of their days would be so filled, times when they’d be able to quietly relax in each other’s presence.
There was a snowstorm going on, meaning that their busy schedules were canceled for today– Since they definitely couldn't go outside in this condition and one of them was more likely to catch a cold, Shizuku had got accustomed to these change of plans and already decided on a fun holiday activity, such as trying to pick what Christmas movie to watch, engrossed in the couch filled with many blankets and pillows.
“Hmmm… I don’t know which one to choose…” she mumbled, continuing to scroll through the selections before turning to look at her wife, defeated, “Can you help me, Mafuyu?”
Mafuyu, who was more focused on the sight at the window until now, finally began to try and help the idol with her problem. She loved seeing her blank, more serious expression – It meant that she was able to keep up her promise, to help Mafuyu and let her rely on her in return for all the great things she’s done for her from the first time she tried archery until now. And a warmer feeling sprung in Shizuku’s chest again; just thinking about how far they went and how they’ve been able to stay together throughout all these years made her feel even happier.
“I noticed how you kept looking out the window,” she giggled, “Would you have preferred for us to spend our day off outside in the snow, instead?”
“I don't think so. This is nice,”
“Ah, I'm so glad!” Shizuku squealed, already pulling the shorter girl into a tight hug, “Then, which Christmas movie will you choose?”
Taking a few more moments to decide, Mafuyu then points at something on the TV, “Let’s watch that one. It’s the highest rated out of them.”
“Oh! Alright, then.”
After clicking on the movie and taking a last sip from her cup of hot chocolate, the idol nuzzled herself against her wife’s shoulder; to which she responded by pulling her closer, a small blush appearing on her face.
Many years have passed since they became a couple, yet they'll still continue to spend their days with each other whenever fate allows them to.
And Shizuku will keep cherishing these nice moments, til death do they part.
