Work Text:
Wilhelm's fingers trembled as he traced the curve of Simon's jaw, his breath warm against Simon's lips. The dim glow of the bedside lamp cast soft shadows over the room, their sanctuary away from prying eyes. Outside, the snow fell silently, blanketing the school grounds in an untouched white. But inside, beneath the safety of Wilhelm’s sheets, there was only warmth.
Simon exhaled, his eyes fluttering shut for just a moment before he leaned in, capturing Wilhelm’s mouth with his own. The kiss was slow, unhurried, the kind that tasted of longing and whispered confessions. Wilhelm sighed into it, his hands finding their place at Simon’s waist, pulling him impossibly closer.
“I missed you,” Wilhelm murmured against Simon’s lips. His voice was raw, barely more than a breath, but Simon felt the weight of it settle deep inside his chest.
“I’m here,” Simon whispered in return, pressing another kiss to Wilhelm’s jaw, then his cheek, then the sensitive skin just below his ear. “I’ll always be here.”
Wilhelm shivered, but not from the cold. His hands slid beneath Simon’s sweater, his fingertips ghosting over warm skin. Simon sucked in a breath, his grip tightening on Wilhelm’s shoulders as their bodies pressed together, fitting like they were always meant to.
There was no urgency, no fear of being caught—just them, lost in each other, in the safety of four walls and the knowledge that, here, they were free to love without consequence.
Wilhelm kissed a trail down Simon’s neck, taking his time, tasting him, savoring every shuddered gasp and the way Simon’s fingers curled into his hair.
“You drive me crazy,” Wilhelm admitted between kisses. “You always have.”
Simon chuckled, a breathless, beautiful sound. “Good,” he said, tipping Wilhelm’s chin up to kiss him again, deeper this time, more desperate. “Because you drive me crazy too.”
And as the night stretched on, filled with whispered promises and the slow, burning dance of hands and lips and bodies pressed together, they lost themselves completely — in love, in warmth, in each other.
