It was a casual afternoon, the TV humming in the background, a reality show playing while two people snuggled on the couch. Sunlight filtered through the window, casting a golden glow across the cozy living room.
Nayuta and Ryzar were wrapped in the comfort of each other’s presence, enjoying the quiet simplicity of the moment. Out of nowhere, Nayuta decided to voice a thought that had been lingering in his mind.
"Hey," Nayu said, turning to Ryzar with a playful glint in his eye, "I kinda want to move to Japan and eat cheap, yummy sushi every week."
Ryzar chuckled, leaning closer. "Of course! Just make sure to take me with you."
Nayu paused, his heart beating faster. The air seemed to still for just a second as he reached into his pocket, pulling out a small ring box.
"Actually…" Nayu opened the box, his voice softer but steady. "I was thinking we should make it a lifetime thing. Want to be my forever sushi date?"
Ryzar’s eyes widened in shock, then filled with emotion. His smile trembled as laughter bubbled up, mingling with tears.
"Yes," Ryzar whispered, "A hundred times yes." Sealing the perfect sushi-inspired proposal with a kiss.
Laughter echoed in the cozy room, reality TV forgotten. The world outside didn’t matter—only the promise they’d just made.
