"Another day, another slay!" is what glisten once said. But he isn't here right now. Plus, this won't be much of a 'slay' with what we're dealing with.
Connie, Gigi, Shrimpo, Vee, Sprout Astro, Pebble, and Brightney were on another run. Great. 7AM on a Saturday sounded 'amazing' for Dandy to host a run. Not like it was their break day or anything..
So, everyone was pretty groggy. Buuuut... Connie seemed a bit different today.
Connie would look at Gigi, with nervousness painted all over her.
"Heyyy.. G-girll...!"
Gigi was sure that something was wrong. I mean, Connie can be nervous at times, everyone can, but she just seemed.. different.
Gigi looked back at her, replying
"..Hey. You doing fine?"
"..Mmm..yeah."
This was a lie.
The elevator started to close, and they reached the first floor. Pebble went to gather twisteds, but by barking it scared connie.
"Eep!"
Connie made a little whimper and covered her ears.
Gigi looked at her hesitantly, before asking
"..Are you small?"
A look of panic appeared on the poor ghost's face, and she shook her head.
"O-of course not! W-wha does that even...mm-"
She stuttered for a moment, trying to think of a good response.
"-m-mean! Haha.."
Ok, no way she's big right now. Saying that she doesn't know what it means? Weird.
As the machines started to get completed, Gigi and Connie were the only ones not doing the work. Oh well.
As they all got in the elevator, Brightney started some small talk with Connie.
"So..Uh... Connie..! How're you feeling?"
Connie whimpered in response.
"...Are you little?"
Connie pouted, saying "No.. I-i'm not.. I'm..."
"You're...?" Vee said in response, listening in and not believing and of it.
"I'm.. FINE!"
"WRONG!!" Shrimpo chimed in.
Suddenly, Dandy appeared from the floor. He was ready to sell some items! He was selling gumballs, chocolate, and a speed... Oh.
Connie had tears in her eyes.
Since about everyone in Gardenview knew about Connie being an age regressor, Dandy knew what was happening.
"..How about we just go home..? Seems like someone isn't too fit for this anyways." He looked at Connie.
Sprout and Astro were listening into all of this, making sure to take care of her.
After this, Connie finally gave in.
The rest of the day seemed short and fuzzy, but more relaxed.
And Connie liked that.
She liked that a lot.
