BEEP! BEEP! BEEEEEEEeeP!
Ugh! Another day waking up early! I shouldn’t have stayed up so late with Ena and K,
She slapped her alarm clock, begging it not to ring anymore. Mizuki thought that maybe, just maybe it had snowed. It snowed a few weeks ago, it was possible. Likely not, though. She opened her phone.
0 texts from Ena.
Mizuki was disappointed. They always looked forward to talking to Ena. Plus, they were going to give her some flowers on Valentine’s Day! Wait…
The date in the corner of her phone screen was… FEBRUARY 14TH!
Mizuki rushed to grab her backpack. She then made her way to the kitchen, where some flowers lay on the counter, dressed beautifully in Roses, Petunia, Orchids, and many more beautiful flowers. Mizuki grabbed the beautiful bouquet, and held onto it tight. She couldn’t drop this! She was always dropping things, being a very clumsy person.
Wait! She had almost forgotten her clothes! They rushed to get their best outfit. It was perfect, the baby blue complemented their pink hair so perfectly, and the dress brung out a more feminine side of her figure. It was her best, and favorite, dress. The perfect thing to wear to confess to Ena!
Mizuki stepped outside, about to walk to the bus stop, but saw white everywhere. They pulled out their phone. A text from the school.
School will be cancelled today due to icy roads. It is quite risky for the buses to drive, so we shall allow students to stay home today. Take precautions going outside, as it is very cold.
Gasp! Yes! It was cancelled. Wait… did that mean they had gotten up so early for no reason? She sighed. Hours of sleep, wasted! She would just have to deal with it. Once she was up, she was up, and she could not go back to sleep.
It was only around 25 degrees outside. Had her confession date been ruined? No. Ena and Mizuki both had come to the diner during snow before, and teased each other about their coats. That was it! They could both walk to the garden! It wasn’t far from either of their houses, only about 3 blocks. She and Ena could meet up!
Mizuki opened her phone and began typing.
Wanna go to the garden? I’d love to see how MASSIVE your big fat jacket is.
I hate u.
Anyways uh sure yeah I was about to ask to meet up
I’ll be there in an hour

Mizuki giggled. Ena and her were always telling eachother how much they hated eachother. And it made her feel flustered. When Ena teased them, they actually liked it. It was funny! And whenever they snapped back, Ena blushed a little. Mizuki did too.
Mizuki had a crush on Ena, for sure, but did Ena like them back? They had considered this for so long, but they eventually decided on yes. Ena blushed around Mizuki, which was pretty much a dead giveaway. Mizuki could tell Ena thought she was good at hiding it. It was cute too, seeing her think no one speculated anything, when obviously, everyone knew. Even Mafuyu picked up on it. Mizuki set a timer for 30 minutes, and sat down to do her makeup extra good this morning. She would need it. Mizuki adored making herself look all dolled up. She thought she was incomplete without her signature pink but of mascara. It was practically her trademark.
