Ryuko slept peacefully while Rumi and Nemuri were making breakfast. “Are you sure she won’t wake up?” Nemuri couldn’t help but look back at the bedroom, worried about their girlfriend waking up and realizing that they were up to something.
“Nemuri, I am sure she won’t wake up. Ryuko always has trouble waking up early when she doesn't have to worry about going to work and let’s face it, we are lucky 9 AM is considered early for someone who usually wakes up before the sun is even up,” Rumi knew she wasn’t lying as she continued to cook the sausage while Nemuri continued to make the pancakes. “Baby girl is out like a light,” she said.
“Good. It would ruin the surprise should she see,” Nemuri said with a smile. Rumi nodded her head in agreement as they continued to cook breakfast.
