Kisses

Summary:

Just another fic with BaekSeok.

Work Text:

Day. So ordinary, completely similar to any other. The One International employees were already hard at work - some were sitting at their computers, some were walking back and forth, looking for documents, some were talking to clients on the phone... the sounds of work were somehow calming, because over such a long time they had already become so familiar.
Despite the bustle around, it all still seemed somehow monotonous. Something was missing... but what?

Baek-gi was sitting at the computer, making some kind of table that the junior manager had asked him to make. The lines went one after another, and each of them had different meanings.

- Baek-gi, I'm going to a meeting with a client. If anyone calls, say that I'm not there.
- Yes...

Manager Kang left, leaving behind only an empty workspace.
After a while, Baek-gi himself got up from his seat and went to the break room to make himself some coffee, and maybe chat with someone, if anyone was there.
And then he sees someone. Is it the new guy? Baek-gi saw him for the first time. And his hair is kind of weird. Wait a minute...

— Baek-gi!

Seok-yool turned his head and smiled weakly, greeting his friend.

— Seok-yool...— he adjusted his glasses — What... happened to your hair?

— Well, I just wanted to trim the ends, but the hairdresser chopped off half the length... now I walk like a pot — he groaned — I wish my hair would grooooow fasteeeeer...

He ruffled his hair, but instead of gradually fall over his forehead, they slipped out from under his fingers.

— And the back of my head is cold.

He examined Baek-gi's hair and lightly touched it with his fingers.

— You're lucky, short hair suits you more. And you even look a little older than your age. And I look like overgrown schoolboy.

Baek-gi took his wrist and pulled it away from himself a little. He didn't really like being touched.

- Oh, come on, like you'll die if I run my fingers through your hair once.

He turned around, continuing to make himself some coffee. Baek-gi came closer.

- What are you...
- Don't move, your collar is twisted...

Baek-gi carefully adjusted his collar with his fingers. He did it slowly, as if on purpose, to touch Seok-yool a little. However, after that, he was in no hurry to move away. On the contrary, he only moved closer.

- Do you have a new perfume?
- Do you like it?
- Mm.

Baek-gi pressed himself a little closer. He was standing indecently close, but Seok-yool didn't want to move away either. His colleague's hot breath was burning the back of the guy's head. Baek-hi put his palm on his waist. This already seemed like something too risky. And considering that anyone could come in here - it only added fear... and excitement.
They stood like that for about another minute, and neither of them dared to do anything further. But then Seok-yool slightly twisted out of Baek-gi's grip and turned to face him. They had a small difference in height - Seok-yool was only a couple of centimeters shorter than Baek-gi, but now these couple of centimeters felt like half a head.

- Damn it.

Seok-yool just pulled Baek-gi's glasses off with one hand, and before he could object, kissed him.

Of course, Baek-gi could have pushed him away, yelled at him for being crazy... but he didn't. Of course, he didn't expect such a turn of events, but he couldn't say that he was against it either. Having gotten used to his lips, Baek-gi pressed himself slightly and closed his eyes. Seok-yool moved his palm to the back of his head to press himself closer to him, to feel him. To feel the taste of his plump lips, the smell of his expensive perfume, his hot breath...
Baek-gi grabbed Seok-yool's face in his palms and slightly tilted him back. Seok-yool pressed his lower back against the tabletop, almost knocking over the cup of coffee. So that it wouldn't get in the way, Seok-yool moved it aside and put Baek-gi's glasses next to it.

Due to lack of air, they moved away from each other. He wanted to press himself against him again so much... Therefore, Seok-yool, giving in to his desire, kissed Baek-gi again. He put his palm on his thigh and hooked his palm on the belt on his pants, pulling it down.

And then Baek Gi felt like he had been doused with ice water.

He groaned in displeasure, and then gently pushed Seok-yool away.

- Sorry...

He grabbed his glasses, and without even saying goodbye, quickly walked out of the break room. Seok-yool remained confused, but did not dare to run after him. He ruffled his hair and rubbed his face with his palms, and only now, when his body temperature began to drop, did he wonder - what was that? And then he felt awkward - kissing a colleague, right at work, at a time when someone might come in.

Seok-yool took a couple of sips of coffee, and before leaving, took out a packet of sedative, opened it and put it in his mouth. After a couple of sips, he felt much better. He turned on the tap and rinsed his face with cold water before going back to work.

Evening. Seok-yool walked out of the building and a cool wind began to caress his face, brushing his hair back. He took a deep breath and then slowly exhaled. Just as he was about to take a step, he was called out:

— Han Seok-yool...

He turned around and saw a figure... Baek-gi. Seok-yool smiled slightly — he was clearly happy to see his buddy.

— Can...we talk? Well, about what happened... ahem... this afternoon.

He nodded.

- Let's go.

They walked a few meters in silence, not even looking at each other.

- You wanted to discuss something with me, right? - Seok-yool broke the silence.
- Yeah... - Baek-gi adjusted his glasses. - I'm sorry about what happened today. I don't know what happened to me then, I just -
- Jang Baek-gi. - Seok-yool interrupted softly - Don't worry so much. I was afraid that you would push me away.

An awkward pause.

- Anyway. Just don't worry about it. If you wanted to kiss me so much, heh, then come anytime.
- Fool.

Baek-gi lightly pushed him in the shoulder, causing Seok-yool to giggle.

They both slowed down, clearly in no hurry to return home. And then, they stopped at the Han River.

- It glows so beautifully at night.
- Mm-hmm.

They stood next to each other, barely moving, just silently watching the river and the noise of the city at such a late hour. As if they were both ordinary observers who could stop time at any time and observe the situation around them. Seok-yool rubbed his little finger against Baek-gi's palm, and Baek-gi slowly took his hand, intertwining their fingers. Seok-yool's hand was dry and warm, and Baek-gi's was rough and cold.

They slowly turned their heads towards each other, examining their facial features. Seok-yool's were cunning, like a fox, and Baek-gi's were sharp, like a rock.
After looking at each other like that for a while, they approached each other and kissed. This time their kiss was much softer. There was no pressure or passion in it, it was slow and lingering, full of trust. They kissed slowly, for a long time, slightly moving away to get air. They hugged, as if they were afraid that they would not see each other tomorrow. They were simply there - when it was needed.
