“Walky, I'm not calling you that,” Sal said with her arms crossed.
“Sal! You can't dead name your sister like that!” Joyce shouted. “I'm so sorry. I'll support you no matter what Sensitive Scanner! Sisterhood solidarity!”
“I ain't dead naming her. Sensitive Scanner isn't her new name, she just tryin’ mess with us.”
“You guys can still call me Walky. It is a nickname. An important one. But my name is Sensitive Scanner.”
“Walky-” Dorothy began.
“Sensitive Scanner,” corrected Joyce.
Dorothy ignored her. “Walky, there were other female characters on the show.”
“But none as funny as Sensitive Scanner.”
Dorothy sighed. “How about some of the members of Semme?”
Walky frowned. The government agents that Dexter fights? “They only show up for the ‘serious’ season finales.”
“They had some fun characters. Like Joy.”
“Oh I like Joy,” Joyce said.
“I thought about it but I don’t really feel like a Joy.”
“But ya feel like a Sensitive Scanner?” Sal asked.
“How about Dotty?” Dorothy suggested.
Walky made a face. “Wally’s old high school girlfriend?”
“Yeah Dorothy, all Dotty was good for was dragging out the will they/ won’t they between Wally/Joy. Depriving the audience of Wally and Joe being together.”
“Joyce got a point Dorothy. Wally/Joy OTP.”
Amber, who had been silent this whole time, spoke up. “Okay what about Joy and Dotty together?”
“I didn’t know you shipped girls together,” Joyce said.
“Well it’s mainly so Wally would be free to makeout with Mic.”
“Right. What about the tech girl? Diana,” Dorothy suggested.
Walky hummed as she took a sip of her soda.
“That’s ya real name, ain’t it!”
“Hmmmm.”
All the other girls groaned. “I vouched for you!”
