Babysitting

Summary:

Ochaco and Deku, two of the biggest pros in Japsn, get assigned an unusual task... Babysitting for Mina and Kirishima.

Piece of cake, right?

Nothing ever truly is.

Work Text:

Some unintentionally expressive bangs came from an otherwise peaceful neighbourhood. Late in the evening, beneath the twinkling stars. This was one of those areas in town that never came under threat, most likely thanks to two particular residents housed in it. One of pink, vibrant skin, the other hard as a boulder, an impenetrable wall of manliness. A pair of young pro heroes, graduates of the famous UA academy. What villain in their right kind would pick a fight on home soil? None so far, so the residents slept safe and sound.

Knocking on their door wasn’t exactly an unfamiliar thing. Fans would often pass their respects, as would the local police and law enforcement. Even some real pro heroes popped over on occasion to share a hot beverage over some discussion of the area or more mundane things. So, once that familiar noise rang true in her walls, Mina found herself springing to the door. These were no ordinary visitors, but instead-

“Midoriya! Ochaco! Oh, thank goodness you made it! You’re late, y’know! Had me worried I’d have to look for new babysitters, again...”

“Hi, Mina! Sorry we’re a little late, had some scheduling issues...” Ochaco Uraraka introduced herself with that gleeful smile of her.

“Yeah, work's need a real pain recently. Especially now that I’m back in the hero game too... not that I’m complaining.” Deku came next, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly.

The energetic lady wanted no time embracing the two at one, an impressive feat with how muscular Izuku was these days.

“No worries! Although, are you sure it’s actually a work issue... or were you two lovebirds busy at work with eachother, if you get what I’m saying~? Teehee!”

Ashido adored teasing over one’s relationship, but none compared to her constant running of the gag with these two. Ever since Uravity and Deku officially became a thing, after nine entire years of waiting, Ochaco couldn’t get the romantic out of her notifications for a solid few weeks. This, though, was the first time witnessing their love in person.

And, boy, was it worth the wait.

Not the same hopelessly embarrassing nerd of high school anymore, but still prone to breaking into blush whenever another dug into his private life like this. “W-Well, we did share a few kisses on the way here...” Deku admitted under absolutely no pressure.

“Deku-!”

Ochaco tried interjecting, knowing Mina all too well after the last nine years, but too little too late for the heroine. Aa expected, Mina had long broken into full tease mode. Making out with the air, rubbing hands over her own body to mimic an intimate hug, laughing up a storm.

“Awwww, you’re both soooo cute! Honestly, having to wait NINE while years made it all the more fun for me!” That nine came out vengeful, almost conveying some sort of hidden resentment.

However, just as things were reaching insufferable levels of immaturity, the presence of another. A strong one at that, carrying some serious aura. Shrouded in shadow like this, he almost looked cool with those dreamy muscles and spiky hair...

“Hey, you two! Great to have ya here!” Until Kirishima opened his mouth, revealing his sweeter side. One that no fresh honey would ever beat in a taste test.

“You’re ruining my fun, babe...” Mina pouted.

On the contrary, the other two lovebirds of green and pink couldn’t be happier that train derailed.

“Thanks, Kirishima... Honestly, she hasn’t changed a bit in almost a decade...” Sighed Ochaco.

Though, deep down, glee of Mina’s inability to fully mature resided. Not that she’d ever admit such a thing unless her love depended on it.

“Do ya really gotta tease ‘em, Mina? It’s kinda silly when you were all up on me last night-!”

Cut off by a terrified shriek and a splash of acid to his chiselled jaw. Not enough to actually do any damage, obviously. Mina was a girl of many things, but murdering her soon to be husband over that was off the table. Still, enough to sting more than a little.

“A-Anyway, we’ve really gotta get goin’! Our shift is in, like, an hour, and the travel is a n-nightmare!” No use. The smug grins from the two guests were red hot. “Stop staring like that! Like you two weren’t running a marathon on one another-!”

Scarred hands clamped over her running mouth, but not enough to wipe the knowing look from Pinky’s face. It didn’t help that Ochaco had lit up like a Christmas tree.

As basically the only one in the room unbothered by childish relationship talk, Eijiro hauled Mina away underarm kicking and whining for more suggestive chatter from her favourite couple.

“Sorry to be goin’ so soon, you guys...”

“It’s okay! I’m no stranger to late nights at my agency either...” Uraraka reassured. “Do your best, you two!”

“Yeah! Give it all you’ve got!” Deku chimed in.

Eijiro gave a friendly farewell wave. “See ya in a few hours!”

Mina waved as well, though bitterly disappointed to be shoved from a good old lovey dovey chit-chat. Amidst Hero work and her husband, those were in her all time top three favourite things.

With their departure, the hero couple remaining wasted no time making themselves at home in the white walls of their temporary home. A place of few highlights, surprisingly enough for a couple with Ashido involved. They’d expected glittered walls, cacti, a whole bunch of boxing bags... but only the cacti actually came to be. Spacious, but almost a little empty.

“You ready, Deku? This might be our hardest mission yet!” The brunette declared.

Deku couldn’t begin his reply before busting into laughter. “Hahaha! A-As... as if...!”

Both were a chuckling mess. They had been for the entire day, ever since such a strange task arrived at their doorstep: babysitting duty. A completely untoward request, one assumed to be satire from the get go. When they learnt it was, in fact, totally serious, Ochaco almost burst a lung.

Babysitting? Not even with a villain baby, but a quirkless toddler? Neither took it seriously. The fact they’d brought snacks for a movie proved their arrogance, but who could blame them? Two fully fledged pros, up against a baby. Liberally taking candy from a baby.

Once their giggling ceased, Ochaco raised an important question. “Where is the lil guy, anyway?”

Deku honestly had no clue, answering with a nonchalant shrug. Looking left and right, yet no sight of the miniature creature.

“Wait, is that...?” Such a sight caused some slight heart palpations from the sheer amount of cuteness. “Awwwwwww! Deku, look!”

Their man of the hour, the baby with a name neither knew in the slightest, clearly tool after its parents already. Bold, curious, barrelling towards them as fast as its miniature legs carried; not very. In impressively rapid crawl, but a crawl nonetheless.

Both melted at the sight, heartstrings being manipulated by some higher power to turn them to wide-eyed babies themselves. Unable to do much but giggle along with it, feeling a few tears well up from such a precious sight.

“Awwwwww! Ohmigosh, so cuuute! Here, come to momma!” Not afraid to hold it close, Ochaco could’ve sworn she felt herself grow in stature from just how grown up such an activity felt.

Something about the motherly sight sent Midoriya over the edge, resulting in the urge to squish his chubby cheeks. Not without complimenting the love of his life, of course.

“This whole mother looks really suits you!” He muttered, more than a little flushed.

“You think? It’s actually my first time cradling a baby!” She giggled. “I might get addicted...”

Sitting her rear on someone else’s couch felt a little odd, but the immediate comfort hidden beneath doughy pillows took her mind away from all that. Good thing, too... Imagining what the other couple have done on it left a bad taste in her mouth.

Like an obedient schoolboy, Deku leapt at his opportunity to place himself beside his beloved. Him on the left, the baby chilling on the right, and Ochaco squished right in the middle. Had the baby not been a twinge of light pink, they’d almost resemble a perfect family. Still, the two adults in the room couldn’t keep to themselves for very long.

Turning on the television, arm firmly wrapped like a snake to its prey. That prey being the slim, defenceless neck of the beautiful lady more than happy to be eaten up.

“This is nice, Deku...” As obvious as could be, evident not my words but her snuggling. “I could seriously fall asleep right now... But I’d rather see your face~!”

“Same here.” Deku replied, dipping his toes little by little into deeper waters of romantic nights. “With how busy we are, it’s rare to get such a quiet night... But we have one now, so it’s all good!”

Some snoozefest of, ironically, a thriller played in the background. Something about a spy’s hidden duty to pose a normal family life, unaware of his wife having a similar situation. Both watchers only caught the basics, complete transfixed on one another instead.

“You know, Deku, that’s actually why I pushed us to take this small job. I know it’s selfish of me, but I just wanted to be with you tonight...”

Deku actually felt relieved for his partner’s honestly. Usually, he has to dig under several layers of suppression to find the truth beneath her skin, like an onion.

“To be honest, I did the same. Life’s been so busy, and... I missed you.” He admitted. “You’re doing really well with the whole honestly thing, by the way!”

“Aw, thanks! You know it’s a bad habit of mine to hide everything away, but I’m trying to change that. For you! I don’t have to be alone anymore, not ever! We’ll support eachother no matter what, right?”

“Right!”

No matter how many times that blazing inferno of determination lit in gee sparking eyes, Deku couldn’t help but be inspired. That’s how it’d always been between them, even nine years after graduation.

Afterwards, they finally turned their attention to the series. Apparently, the adopted child is a telepath? Not exactly realistic, but the antics from such a strange concept led the heroes watching down a rabbit hole of relaxation, nuzzling close to their shared warmth.

Despite being an official couple, neither man nor woman had the opportunity to just cuddle like this too often. Always a night shift, overtime at UA, or something along those lines keeping them separated for what felt like eternity to them. A painfully long time away from the other’s scent, their silky hair, cute giggles... some naughtier things, as well. But, for the most part, activities in the bedroom, though a huge pleasure pool, didn’t cross their minds as much as a simple kiss on the cheek. What little alone time they had was spent to the fullest, an utter refusal from each party to waste valuable time together.

Thirty minutes passes, then a few hours. Only the occasional change of pace of feeling one another all over tore them from their cinematic masterpiece. An absolute treat to behold, and the film was a nice bonus top. Honestly, Izuku never fully grasped the complexity of Ochaco’s skin even on the most delicate of touches. Sleek, feminine, yet also containing clear muscle within. The definition of a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Eventually, he felt an urge other than the inescapable black hole of desire to fanboy over his perfect girlfriend.

“Be right back, Ochaco. Just wanna grab a drink.”

“Can you grab me a soda, too? There’s no way Mina doesn’t keep a few in her fridge.”

“Coming right up.”

“Thanks! Say bye to Deku, little one-!” Intending to have their small guest wave a joking goodbye, but... “D-Deku! The baby’s gone!”

“What?!”

He rushed back instantly, checking every last nook and cranny for the miniature human. A baby could only go so far, right? Although, they had been engrossed on everything but it the past hour...

“He must’ve ran off while we were distracted...” He concluded.

“Uuurgh, damn it! We’ve gotta find him, Deku!” The guilt behind her eyes was glaringly obvious.

“Try calm down, okay?” The budding young male hero placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. “He’s only little, so he’s gotta be in the house somewhere! Should we split up?”

“Great idea! I’ll check upstairs!”

Without another word in their haste, piercing silence took hold in the mutual parting. Ochaco rushed upstairs, activating her quirk to check underneath anything not bolted down. Bathroom, bedroom, didn’t matter. Logically running through all the places you’d least want to find a baby, such as in the toilet, thankfully coming up short.

Deku fumbled with a mirror scenario. Though, in his case, with no quirk to aid his venture. Power suit left at home, considered overkill for simple baby watching... how he regretted that decision now. His mind shared Ochaco’s thought to skim all the worst cade scenarios: In the blender, trapped under a fallen chair, breathless in the personal sauna Mina had installed for some reason, but also leaving empty handed, much to his relief. However, the mission remained incomplete. A heroes duty is to protect, even those unable to comprehend danger.

With a look sharp enough to slice steel, his shoeless foot slammed into the kitchen. An annoyingly spacious area with too many cupboards to count. Had their not been imminent danger, he would’ve stopped to question why on earth Kirishima felt the need to install so many. With no real plan, he threw himself into each one fearlessly, staring with the bottom row.

Cleaning supplies, snacks... a lot of snacks. At least five were just rammed full of junk food, uncharacteristic for a trim lady and her personal man mountain of a boyfriend. One bucket, some pencils, entirely empty nothing burger spaces...

“Why even have this many when you can’t fill them?!”

His rants went entirely ignored with no ears for it to fall on. Not that it mattered to him regardless of this potentially perilous situation, no longer the same boy in middle school to lose confidence in himself at the slightest thing.

BANG!

That took him by surprise, making him stumble into one of the many counters in this maze of a kitchen. Honestly, why did Mina need five ovens?

Though, after a gentle shake of the head, he saw the obvious blessing in the bang. Only one thing could’ve possibly produced it...

“There you are!”

What a relief. Turns out the baby was in here, in one of those infinite cupboards, playing with some pots. Deku wondered how he even got here, but reluctantly withdrew his questioning. Can’t exactly interrogate a toddler, after all.

Slowly but steadily, the young man lowered those battered arms down to lift the troublemaker back to the couch. Drawing closer, just a whisker away, until...

CRASH!

“O-Ow...!”

His, admittedly, pathetic whimpers came suddenly and without a solid foundation, closer to pants than actual vocabulary. Robotically glaring downwards to the area of hurt, and it all suddenly clicked for him. Steel pans on one’s toe did tend to pack a punch. But, this was Izuku Midoriya, the one to defeat two of the greatest villains in history almost singlehandedly.

“A-A pot isn’t gonna hurt me! C’mon, little one.”

That “little one” simply gave a deadpan glare of annoyance, clearly unhappy to have box height mocked so cruely, before sending another pot hurtling towards the ground.

BANG!

“YEOWCH!!” He screamed, feeling the full force.

That one stung despicably, a much mightier object than before. As if a cartoon character, he clutched his foot to his chest and hopped like a bunny around the kitchen. Not his proudest moment, but what else numbed pained so effectively? And, little by little, his pain began to whittle away, making the inherent silliness less unbearable. Eyes sealed shut, firstly thanks to the uninvited pain but now basking in heaven-sent relief.

A wonderful feeling, until the lack of vision ran him into a different cupboard higher up. Smacking it right in the face, what grace. Knocking over some water as well, which now unhelpfully littered the floor around him like a disaster waiting to happen.

Stars of the glistening night sky spun round and round, visions of eating All-Might’s hair to first inherit One For All coupling it for a reason too dazed to figure out.

“E-Eat... this...!”

Then, something came into contact with his face. Tiny things, hardly bigger than the end of a spoon but ten times as comforting. Whatever they were, they adequately tethered him to reality again like a angel to a lost soul.

Oh, it was the baby’s hands. Deku wouldn’t appreciated it more had it not committed attempted murder just a moment ago, whether it knew that or not. Still, at least he was awake now.

“Holy woah... Jeez, you’re a little troublemaker, aren’t you?”

It giggled back at him.

“Well, you’re definitely Mina’s baby! Whether for better or worse... Please don’t pick up her habit of teasing me and Ochaco, I’m begging you!” Shouting into the void, but hoping to wish that existence. Another Mina in teasing duty might just drive him insane. “Anyway, let’s get you back where you belong.”

For once, the lil fella obliged with no fuss, nesting little by little into Deku’s manly forearms. Despite their obvious damage, they still made excellent pillows with muscle alone. Looks like more than just Uraraka enjoyed resting between them, slightly cheering him up.

“Ochaco! Found him!” Notified Izuku with a booming tone.

“Coming!”

She rushed downstairs at breakneck speed, hair flowing in the wind. A nuisance, but knowing her boyfriend found such s sight entrancing made things just about worth the hair in her brown eyeballs. Just. The loss of visibility almost caused a nasty fall a few steps from the final hurdle, prevented but not entirely. Just stumbling into her man instead.

“A-Ah, sorry!” She backed off immediately, unable to look him in the eye from embarrassment. “Thanks for catching me, Deku.”

“Are you okay? Here, take some-“

“Mama!”

Out of the blue, their little companion burst into their conversation with his first word of the night. With no teeth yet, speech came unnaturally and strained, yet with the common endearing charm a baby usually carried.

“I told you he’d do that!” Retorted Deku, in a firm yet teasing tone. “I really, really hope those weren’t his first words...”

Ochaco, meanwhile, utterly dissipated on the spot, taking the baby into her own arms beaming with love. Her own flesh or not, having a baby call you “mama” was an experience like no other. All five fingers connected with its squishy head as she held it close in appreciation.

“Can we please adopt you...?”

“Maybe Mina wouldn’t notice if we replaced him with a doll?” Deku joked, his own heart enriched at the sight.

“Haha, I hope not! I just wanna take him home... Anyway, where’d you find him?”

“in a cupboard.”

“Oh. So what were those bangs?”

“Bangs... Oh! He dropped some pans on my foot... Kinda really hurts...” Admitted such wounded his pride. So this is what Bakugo felt every day.

“Aww, you poor thing. Here, let me help!”

As a makeshift family, they all returned to their seats all last. First plopping the baby down, then turning her attention to his foot.

“Where’s it hurt, Deku?”

Instead of giving a proper answer, he protested her assistance. “H-Hey, Ochaco... I’m 24. You don’t have to mother me...”

“Don’t be silly!” She said sternly. “I love you, so I wanna help when I can! You deserve someone to look after you after all these years, yknow? You can’t the big, strong hero all the time, even for something silly like this. Let me help, please?”

His heart grew three times that day. God, he loved this woman.

“It’s my big toe.. Ow!” Just touching it lightly produced a squeal. “Tender...! It’s like I’m back at UA breaking my bones all over again...”

“Lemme take a look!”

Removing his sock right by her adorable face was beyond uncomfortable, but the immediate reassurance from a single glance of her eyes calmed his embarrassment just enough to actually follow through. A minute or so passed of quiet observation, all but hums from the one gently prodding and poking to test what’s what.

“Hmm... I’m no doctor, but that definitely seems like a sprain, at least.” She declared with a sombre heart.

Wishing to declare her observation as nonsense, but he found himself lacking the correct critiques. She had saved several hundred civilians with major injuries over the years, so how could he question her judgement?

He’d be lying if he said that news didn’t hurt to receive. His usual calming smile was replaced by discontent, a dismay at imagining work tomorrow.

“Oh, okay. Thanks.”

Not dense in the slightest, she saw through his obvious dissatisfaction. “Hey, it’s okay! We’ll get you to a real doctor’s tomorrow, but I’ll go grab an ice pack for now.”

Unfortunately, his expression only seemed to worsen. Not ideal. So, leaning in close, a peck of red lipstick coated one of his freckled cheeks.

“I promise, Deku, it’ll be okay... You’re probably thinking about how this affects your jobs, right?”

He sat utterly dumbfounded. “How’d you know?”

“You’re pretty easy to read, especially after knowing you for nine whole years. Your eyes turn slightly towards the ground whenever you do that, meaning you obviously aren’t fully here.”

Being read so bluntly kind of hurt the young man, but the intentions behind it recouped his focus to what’s important.

“I-I see... Sorry. You know how I worry about everyone, so it’s hard not to slip back to overthrowing sometimes.” He admitted.

It made her visibly pout, an emotion never seem before on her face. In front of the man of her dreams, that is. Taking an almost upperclassman pose, ready to scold him on the spot, but calming as soon at it started.

“Sorry about that... It just frustrates me when you sacrifice yourself so often! It’s good to worry about others... you’ve always been like that, but don’t forget that other’s worry about you as well! Especially me!”

Her seriousness made him laugh a little. “Ochaco, it’s just a small injury! I promise, I’m alright-!”

But she wasn’t having any of it, tightly gripping her hands into his arms.

“Deku... You’re doing it again! I don’t care how small you think it might be, cuz it’s still big to me!”

Things had gotten awfully intense for something so minor, she knew that. Yet, that same determination so commonly alight deep in those dreamy eyes of hers burnt bright as ever. She wanted... NEEDED him to understand. In one smooth movement, their positions altered to be one of embrace, his shoulders grasped breathtakingly steady.

“Let me worry about you, Deku... Let me help. You’re obviously hurt, and... I know you’d do the same for me! I wanna help, not as a hero but as your girlfriend... I’m privileged enough to have that luxury, so won’t you let me show my love?”

Beneath all the muscle and bravado, the unimaginable fame and camera appearance... he was still a damned nerd who couldn’t hold in a blush if the world depended on it. Having someone so special care for him so lovingly, over just a throbbing toe, was simply unbelievable to him. The inner middle school victim inside couldn’t hold his excitement, honestly. So much so that he wildly giggled.

“Hahaha! O-Okay, you win! I’ll take time to heal, alright?”

“Thank you, babe!”

Where his voice shone with giddiness, hers had such obvious relief. Getting Deku to give up on someone was no easy feat, but he did just that for her sake... She really, really, really, really loved him to death.

She spoke up again, “Now, let me that ice pa- AAAH!!”

“Wh-What?! You okay?!”

His concern matched her own, so, when her shaky finger gestured where the baby was, he turned all attention.

“Hm- AAAAH!!”

“H-He’s gone, again...!” Ochaco trembled like a twig in the breeze.

They’d failed their duty again... Mina’s child had again vanished into thin air, and not in the same way as their friend Hagarake. Invisible, but very much still present. Something this magician baby very much was not.

“L-Let’s split up again!” Ochaco suggested, but Deku stared at her in such a bizarre manner that she stopped. “What?”

“You’re, um... leaking bubbles.”

It confused her at first, but one glance at her glowing fingertips explained it all. As a result of her quirk awakening in her nightmarish battle against Himiko Toga, her powers had evolved tenfold. One such way was the ability to send anti-gravity bubbles in a given a direction, often in the hundreds, to reach far away objects without directly touching them. Incredibly useful, but she had to constantly focus to keep their numbers in check or they’d never end their spillage. These days, subconsciously commanding their numbers was second nature to her in any given situation, but occasionally a gap in the wall formed just enough for them to pour out en masse.

At first, she just laughed it off. Nothing but a bit shameful, fixed in an instant. That was until her mind started to spin, sliding pieces together on the board. The weight of something continued to push down on her, but she hadn’t floated anything... right?

“When did I activate zero gravity...? It couldn’t have been then, cuz you aren’t floating, Deku! Neither’s your sock or clothing... Hmmm. Before that, I was-!”

Realisation hit like a speeding bullet to the chest.

“I was holding him!”

Shooting her neck upwards, she bared witness to something straight from a nightmare. They’re culprit, without a care in the world, clearly enjoyed being a pain. Between his little fingers was a supported wire, the one holding up a light on the ceiling... which he now sat on.

Deku noticed too, rushing to Ochaco’s side and forgetting his pain completely.

“H-Holy crap! Get him down, Ochaco!”

“it’s not that simple...” Her face found a nice home buried in her palms. “If I float myself up there, he might start crying! Babies probably don’t enjoy being forcefully picked from stuff!”

“So what do we do?!” They’re gonna be back any minute, and he’s stuck on a light!”

“I-I dunno! But, we’ve gotta get him down before-“

BANG!

Both turned in utter horror. Of all the timing in the world, now was the moment Mina and Kirishima decided to return.

“We’re hoooome~!” Mina yelled. “Boy, that shift was something else...”

“Wassup, you two? You’re lookin’ a little stressed...”

Kirishima always had a keen eye for unhelpfully revealing information. Knowing their gooses were cooked, all the power couple of green and pink could do was pray on their souls.

“Aww, did our little boy give you trouble? Told you he wasn’t gonna be easy!” Retorted the girl of pink hue. “Where is he, though? Can’t say I see him anywhere...”

“A-Aha... ha...! W-Well...” Deku began, but with no follow through.

Ochaco couldn’t even open her mouth. Bubbles immigrated from her fingertips once more in bulk.

“Hey, Kirishima kinda has a point... You do look a lil stressed. Did something happen or what?”

“...”

If either uttered another word, they feared the world may collapse around them. Sweating profusely, visibly so through their clothing. Jelly infused in their knees, ready to fall apart and splatter at any moment.

Mina’s patience grew thinner and thinner by the second.

“Hey, I’m not kidding! Spit it out-!”

“Mama!”

That came from up high, with such immature tome that only one tiny person could’ve done it. Deku and Ochaco felt their hearts sink in a way unmatched since the great war.

“Huh? Was that...” Pinky cranned her eyes upwards, before physically recoiling. “MY BABY!!”

Wishing to avoid am agonisingly slow death by acid, both failed babysitters dropped to their knees to beg forgiveness.

“I’m sorry!” Deku wailed. It’s impressive how easily he reverted to his high-school self at times.

“W-We took our eyes off him for five seconds, and-!”

Uraraka, trembling in fear, found her breath faltering in the crucial moments. Mina had a glare of piercing death, the kind only a mother possessed, as she stomped towards her.

Eijiro, too. The only time Izuku had seem him so crazy was back at UA after losing an arm wrestle to Bakugo. A heart of gold, but clearly with a darker side unforeseen to the green mop head.

“You two...! You...” Mina began.

The air felt entirely devoid of itself.

“You...”

Nothing but a void to silently scream at.

“You’re amazing!” Mina burst into laughter. Kirishima as well, clutching his sides.

That was certainly unexpected. Neither on the ground really knew what to do with this outcome, awkwardly giggling along with them as if in on the joke. Whatever that joke was.

“How’d you know he liked heights? We dunno why, but he’s always getting up somewhere high!” Mina explained.

“Woah, you two really are amazin’! You’re comin’ every time!” Kirishima joined in.

Uraraka couldn’t believe her luck. “Ah... G-Guess I had gut feeling...?”

Midoriya’s head was an absolute mess. Panic here, relief there. In desperate need of a good lie down, in all honesty.

“I need a drink...” He muttered, heading into the kitchen once more.

BANG!

...And slipping on that spilt water from earlier.

Notes:

This was originally gonna have another bit at the end about Izuocha debating having a baby with implied smut, but I got bored and cut it lol
