Thunderbringer and NightSky

Summary:

In which I fall prey to my whims and make a Nebula's Civilization fic
This fandom is basically a desert despite having a finished novel and pretty well made manhwa.
So I'm going to fix this.

Chapter 1: Time Turns

Chapter Text

Something was wrong, something had changed, Lakrak was sure of it.

He felt a pain in his shoulder, a sting really if compared to the wounds that killed him or those from his battle against the 5 Guardians and his body felt way heavier than it should.

The wind was dry and cold, the floor wasn’t much better. Whatever had happened he hoped things weren’t too bad. Otherwise Zaol would probably berate him for not acting dignified.

“...I’m hungry…”

A young voice said next to him. Lakrak opened his eyes with way too much difficulty and sit up, his movements way too sluggish for his liking.

He looked around. Why was he in the desert? Last he knew he was helping with the preparations for the war against the Old Gods.

A sharp pain rang through his shoulder, and he winced.

He looked to see who had spoken, and to his surprise, a young Blue Scaled Lizardman was next to him.

“Oh… sorry for waking you up, I didn't mean to do it.”

The youngling seemed familiar, his scales were of a light blue, with a scar over his left eye. It reminded him of one of the children from the Tribe, back when they were still wandering in the desert, before their god.

“Is everything okay? Shouldn’t you be asleep, kid?”

The kid seemed ashamed of something while also very close to tears.

“I’m sorry! I just… I’m so hungry and everything is cold. My parents died in the Saber Tooth attack and no one let me sleep near!”

The child started crying. That wouldn’t do. There was a chance they could become dehydrated, and that could lead to their death.

Lakrak started to extend his arm to comfort the child when he noticed something different. His scales… they were blue!

Now completely awake and paying attention to his surroundings, Lakrak could see that he was separated from the other Lizarman and that  the wound on his shoulder was infected.

How could this be? He was back to the time where he and his tribe were nothing but nobodies wandering the desert to their demise.

Lakrak knew that whatever had happened, it probably wasn’t good. Yet Lakrak could do nothing about the situation…

That is other than pray.
